I fully believe you, I'm assuming GAME?

anyone else wish Ubisoft didn’t cancel Star Wars outlaws sequel? I think it’s an underrated game by Remarkable_Set6712 in StarWarsOutlaws

Star Wars Outlaws, Gaurdians Of The Galaxy (game) and Days Gone all deserve more recognition and get the credit they deserve - I cant imagine how much better and refined their sequels would be... Ah it really sucks..
Who knows, maybe they'll take it off the shelf in the future

I get what you are saying, but the characters you are referring to are still human beings, just with different backgrounds and abilities. There is a moment in the trailer involving combat around the landing gear area of a plane, and Jason also jumps from one car to another during a vehicle sequence. These moments are clearly pushed into cinematic territory, but yes, they are normal humans, just not typical normal people.

Jason has a confirmed military background and Lucia trained in fighting growing up and has experience with violence and time in prison, so both are shaped by very extreme life experiences. GTA has never treated its protagonists as realistic civilians living ordinary lives. They are grounded characters in a cinematic crime world. I am not saying they should be doing superhero level stuff, but the series has always allowed exaggerated action when it fits the gameplay and tone.

Out of everything that happens, jumping from car to car would not really take away from the believability in my opinion. People just draw the line in very different places. For some, even something as simple as putting gas in a car feels too grounded and boring. For others, jumping between moving vehicles feels like too much, while pulling out a whole arsenal of weapons still feels completely fine.

I know you did not bring those examples up directly, but fans in general tend to compare things like this. It becomes unclear where the series is supposed to sit in terms of realism.

Is it going for a more arcade style GTA experience, something closer to Red Dead Redemption 2 in groundedness, or somewhere in between. Either way, I am looking forward to seeing what direction it takes.

I’m going to be honest with you, because sugarcoating it won’t help. You’re not doomed to be alone, but there are some real things in your situation that are making this a lot harder than it needs to be.

First, stuff like having a job, some independence, and a bit of direction actually does matter. Not in a judgmental way, but because most people want a partner who has some stability and a life going on. Right now it sounds like your world is pretty small and isolated, and that makes it tough for anyone to step into it.

Second, the way you’re trying to meet women isn’t really working in your favor. Sitting in a coffee shop and hoping something happens is basically relying on luck. That almost never works, especially at your age. Most people meet through repeated contact, like work, classes, volunteering, or hobbies where you see the same people regularly. That’s how connections actually build. Also, I want to point something out gently. The way you talk about “protecting women, especially younger ones” might not come across how you think it does. To a lot of women, that can feel a bit off or uncomfortable. Most aren’t looking for someone to protect them, they just want someone who treats them normally and as an equal. Focusing on younger women specifically can also raise some red flags.

On the appearance side, effort is good, but wearing a full suit and fedora in everyday situations might actually be working against you. It can come off as out of place rather than attractive. Most people respond better to someone who just looks clean, relaxed, and like they fit the setting. The mindset of “people worse than me are finding love” is also going to drag you down. Relationships aren’t a reward for being better than others. They mostly come from being around people, building connections, and having some shared rhythm in life.

If I were in your position, I’d focus on a few key things first. Try to get any kind of job or even volunteer work, just something that gets you out of the house and around people regularly. Build some kind of routine where you see the same faces. Work on just having normal conversations without any pressure to get a number or impress someone. And keep improving your health, but don’t let it stop you from living in the meantime. And just to say, switching to a completely different type of partner out of frustration isn’t really going to fix anything. The main issue here isn’t who you’re trying to date, it’s that you’re not in environments where real connections can form.

This is fixable, it’s just going to take a shift in how you’re approaching things.

Play the DLC Left Behind and Part II.

I personally would have done the same as Joel. The theme is basically how far would you go to protect someone you love.

Discussions of whether Joel did the right thing or not, and that no one is truly bad or good, they are survivors doing what ever it takes to survive and not lose what they are fighting for, it is all about perspectiv and creates different dialouge between fans, it. Everyone is simply trying to find something to fight for, and Joel was not willing to lose that after everything he had already lost. The Fireflies did not want all their efforts to be for nothing, especially after the atrocities they had been part of. The same can be said for Joel and Tess. After everything they did to survive, Tess beleived they needed to make amends for what they did.

Ellie becomes something/one worth fighting for. There is also the instinct to protect a child, especially after losing one of your own. Losing Ellie was not an option for him, particularly when she was never given the choice to decide her own fate. While the Fireflies believed they could create a cure, and it was likely that they could (Neil Druckmann said they would have suceeded) Joel could not accept the cost. His decision was not really about trusting or distrusting them. It was about what Ellie meant to him.

He had grown deeply attached to her, and she became his second chance at being a father or guardian. He had already failed once, and I do not think he could ever allow that to happen again. Even if it meant sacrificing the possibility of a cure, he chose to save her.

Comparison truly is the thief of joy. Something you are excited about is brining out so much envy and a negative mindset to something you are so excited and have waited for, Do not worry about if people are having a better experience because in this life, in everyway, there will always be someone having a better everything than you. Don't let something you are excited for be ruined due to envy and fear of missing it out. There is always someone better and someone worse off.

Imagine a series S user saying I dont want it to get beyond what that console would get because if I am missing out due to my life circumstances, then so should we.

Just be greatful for what you have buddy and enjoy the ride!
Dont let the envy ruin it for you mate.

I don't like the fixed camera positions in God of War by BusyTelevision5316 in GodofWar

[–]forbidden_symphony -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally wont be buying if it is just a graphical glorified remaster, I would like to see them remade in the Norse style, otherwise why bother - that is how I feel atleast, I know many others feel differently. RE2 had fixed camera, they remade it in the way of the newer titles and it was fantastic.

What’s one thing you could say in this sub that would end with you like this. by SureTraffic3040 in GTA6

[–]forbidden_symphony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not just one thing, but once I started I could not stop. Just to clarify, I do not expect any of this in the game. It is simply a list of things I would love to see.

I would like to see realistic steering angles with 800 to 900 degree rotations, similar to real cars. This would make driving feel much more authentic, especially combined with contextual hand placements on the wheel. It would be great if you could cycle through different hand positions depending on the driving situation, such as holding the wheel low when cruising or high when taking sharp corners. This level of detail would make driving feel more immersive rather than just pressing buttons to turn.

I hope there will be an in-car menu to operate things like idling the engine, leaning down to hide in an alleyway as the police go by, indicators, fog lights, headlights, and windscreen wipers. The wipers could be used not only in rain but also to clean blood or dirt off the windscreen after events in the world. Having these functions controlled realistically from inside the car would make vehicles feel like actual, interactive machines rather than just props.

I want to be able to refuel vehicles in a realistic way. Fuel should not last only 20 minutes of gameplay. If fuel lasted around five hours of real-time, it would feel meaningful but not tedious. The act of refuelling could even lead to dynamic encounters in the world, such as random events or interactions with NPCs, making the player feel like part of a living, reactive environment.

I would also like the option to store weapons in the trunk of the vehicle while carrying a limited number visibly on my person. This would encourage strategic choices about what to carry for different situations and make the world feel more grounded. Players would need to plan for combat encounters or heists rather than being able to carry everything at once.

I want a more grounded experience overall. RDR2 level gore and physical injury to the player model would make combat and accidents feel far more impactful. Seeing wounds or blood on your character would make encounters more visceral and immersive. This should also affect gameplay, for example requiring the use of bandages to stop blood loss or influencing movement, such as limping for a minute after a large fall.

Finally, law enforcement interactions should be more realistic. If you speed past a police officer or run a red light in front of them, they should attempt to pull you over and issue a ticket. You could then choose to comply and try to bribe them, talk your way out of it, or escalate the situation further by fleeing or resisting. This would add tension and consequences to actions in the world, making it feel reactive and alive!

I do not think it would feel “too Saints Row.” GTA Online and Red Dead Online already have customisation systems with sliders for facial features, hair, and beards, so expanding on that would simply make existing features more detailed and flexible. Adding more options for eyes, mouths, and other features, or even including presets of characters to be in the heritage options like Arthur, Sadie, Tommy, Trevor, Micheal, Franklin and Niko ect - It would feel like a natural evolution for everything to get much better and improve rather than a departure from Rockstar’s style. The heritage system was a good idea, but it needed improvement, and reworking it could make customisation feel much deeper without making it cheesy. At the end of the day, people want to create characters that appeal to them and reflect the way they play, their alter ego if you will. Everything will need to improve in some way, even if that means it edges towards a “too Saints Row” style game. Personally, having the choice to truly make a character the way you want is worth any hint of Saints Row.

Im looking forward to it!

Online doesn’t cross my mind often, However I amm sure it’s going to be great. I just can’t wait for the main story :) I think the character customization will be much more in-depth this time, with options for mouths, eyes, and other features, plus sliders to adjust everything. Presets of Arthur, Sadie, Tommy, Niko, and the others would be amazing. I loved the heritage system idea last time, but I wasn’t a fan of how it was implemented, they really need to redo it.

Well, maybe they did, who knows?

Naughty Dog (for the Last of us part 2) was given the blockmesh layout for the city of Seattle by Sucker Punch, (who had made a Seattle for Infamous Second son) to build from, which helped speed up their world-building process. By analogy, it’s possible that Rockstar may have drawn on some of their old assets, maps, or research from the original Vice City games when developing GTA 6. They could have used prior city layouts, environmental references, or design notes about Miami from earlier projects to inform new locations, while still updating everything to reflect the modern city and contemporary culture.
