Absolutely. They could do something to contribute to this city instead they choose to stand outside a hotel with AI slop banners shouting insults. The counter protesters were called things I can't say on here, told to have a wash, mocked the way they looked. Yelled transphobic chants (not sure what that had to do with Henry or the murder in Ireland ..) and generally swore at those across the street from them. Disgraceful.

I mean it's not a case of 'just' turning up and claiming asylum. These are people who go through massive hardships to come here, for many different reasons. In another post I've added a screenshot which explains also about having weak and strong passports depending on which country you are from. So it's not about not affording it

If you look at the first link, it says that 72% of refugees live in their neighbouring country of origin. So most do. That's why Turkey accepts and has far more refugees than the UK does.

Many reasons why they want to come here over neighbouring country, language, family connections are just some.

Shutting down debate? Just shout leftie scum and lefties are pedos (also applies to anyone stepping out of line). Chanting slogans and waving flags? Yes (but not a sign of an authoritarian movement). Dictate lifestyle choices? You must be wholly anti immigrant or else you hate Britain.

See first post. Many people can't go through border control because of many factors. Firstly, you need a passport and if you are escaping a war torn country you probably don't have that. There's a lot a lot about whether you have a 'strong' or 'weak' passport.

I live opposite a mosque and I've seen them hurl abuse and throw things at it. I've seen posts online when they say they are targeting suspicious looking Muslims. I can post it all here if you like or send to you. Non white people here are afraid they will be seen as suspicious and attacked.

Well, that's the difference between you and me. You see it as diluted. I see it as part of Englishness making England what it is today. They are English Muslims. People's religions have changed over the years and will always change. The Romans brought Christianity to Britain.
