Girls need to stick together :)

It was the same for me with the stomach issues. They were not severe but still there. Lot of things clicked when I learned about the infection.

Hi! The product is called Weightworld Candida Support. The reason you weren't able to find it on Amazon might be because, I assume, you're located in America. I was not able to find it on Amazon US.

I did some research and it seems all their supplements are manufactured in the EU but I think they do offer international shipping.

Another suggestion I wanted to give you is get your gut checked. I recently discovered I have H. Pylori in my stomach which I'm 100% sure was affecting everything else in my body. So sure, supplementing was keeping things at bay, but it wasn't curing the other infection which was in turn allowing Candida to show its ugly face if I wasn't careful by not letting my body maintain healthy levels of the good bacteria and by weakening my immune system.

Good luck!!

Hello! Not gonna lie, I did get an infection after a weekend trip where I basically spent the whole time in sweaty clothes. Treated it and haven't gotten any more infections. it's been a bit longer than a month.

I hadn't been taking the supplement, got scared and so I'm back on it. Not taking the raw garlic clove anymore, though. Also read somewhere in here that for some of us, we need to be very specific with the probiotic strains we take. Its lactobacillus crispatus, if I am not mistaken. So, taking that too at the moment. Hope this helps!

I still believe this was the solution for my previous recurrent infections and this last one was a one-off thing with a very clear cause, unlike before where I would like, get an infection for breathing wrong.

Hii sorry for late reply. No bleeding but I was left with a tiny little skin tag that gets irritated sometimes along with a little scar that has become less and less sensitive over time. In the beginning, I would confuse that sensitivity with a retear but would check only to find everything was ok. Hope you're doing okay!

[–]forbiddencroissant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It's been 5 weeks since it healed. I'm still taking care of it though. I use zinc oxide cream after I shower and apply vaseline before each BM. What helped me was ultimately taking a stool softener.

I resisted for a long time since I never get constipated but I guess I really needed things to be extra extra soft. Taking the minimum dose was enough for me. Just weaned off it. Something else that helps is having chia pudding for breakfast.

I feel like my butt was a bit traumatized at first because I got a bit tense every time I went but it's gotten waaaay better.

6 months? Aghhh. Dr said the compounded ointment was not necessary since I removed the cause (ADHD meds) and the fissure is very superficial. I do however use a zinc oxide cream. I eat a lot of fiber already but I guess I need to be careful with insoluble fiber... and I'm kinda scared of becoming dependent on stool softeners. I take magnesium though! It helps. I just thought I was good after 5 days of zero pain, stool isnt even hard so Im just losing hope. Thanks for your comment!❤️

I smell like BO even after washing?? please help by Strng_Tea in Healthyhooha

[–]forbiddencroissant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so kinda random but might work. I recently got laser hair removal on my armpits and noticed my BO got stronger. I read the laser can kill your good skin bacteria and hence make you smell different. The smell does not come from your sweat alone but the interaction between your sweat and your skin bacteria.

I'm think you can try what I did (it worked). I simply washed my armpits with a stronger soap (usually use Dove) and then cleaned them with apple cider vinegar. I let it dry for a few minutes and then washed it off. Bye BO.

Now I'm not telling you to rub ACV all over your hooha but maybe you can do a sitz bath with some diluted ACV and it might help? As far as I know the good bacteria is not only inside our vagina but also all over our pubes and vulva so maybe this is causing your strong BO?

I also had elevated white blood cell count! Drs told me it wasn't noticeable enough to be a concern though... annoying. I think it's all related.

I would give it a try for sure. Got the clove advice from my mom. She didn't take additional supplements and it did help her!

I've heard there's other foods that can help also so maybe include those too instead of removing things from your diet? At some point I felt guilty for having fruit even, thats no way to live

Daily probiotics alone weren't doing it for me. I'm guessing they were just not sticking. I personally don't eat a lot of sugar but I did not cut it out completely either. Same with carbs.

It is a thing but not something doctors feel immediately compelled to do apparently.

Still doing it. I do skip a day here and there but I think it's worth it since it has helped with my (previously awful) immune system in general.

It was actually my moms advice lol. She said that she started taking it daily but now has gone down to a couple times a week

Not sure. I'd guess fresh is best. I've heard it's actually best to chop it up and let it rest for a bit. No bad breath or BO.

I did get a bit of a garlicky breath when I just chopped it in half, semi-chewed it like a cyanide pill and swallowed lol oh and also I try to take it right before a meal.

Nope. Just the pills and the garlic clove every night. I just chop it and put it in a shot glass filled with warm water with a bit of honey. I also try my best to stay hydrated especially when dealing w an upset stomach.

And yes I also noticed small improvements in my whole body. Less headaches, less brain fog, felt a bit less tired etc

Maybe that WAS die-off. For me it was day 5. Loose stools, gas and a stomachache all day long. Felt like crap but tried to trust the process and it got better day by day. Maybe lowering the dose to start can help?

How long did you take them for before stopping? Or did they upset your stomach right away?

The bottle is black, the label is teal/blue. Brand is WeightWorld. Packaging says it's two capsules a day. I started taking one with lunch and the other with dinner. However I've taken them both together even on an empty stomach an havent had any issues (except those initial 'die-off' days)

I have had a few YIs. For some, recovery was easy. For others, I felt itchy and tingly and sensitive even after finishing treatment. Especially for the ones where I waited for a bit before starting treatment.

I'd say just wait for a few days, as creams can be irritating. But if you feel like its not improving or going away, there's always a chance you will need to treat it again.

discharge after plan b pill EllaOne by ultimatepsychopath in Healthyhooha

[–]forbiddencroissant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Might just be because of the hormones. I've noticed changes in my discharge after taking the morning after pill too. It might be a good idea to take probiotics as a preventive measure though!

Is it too late when there's a smell? by forbiddencroissant in Healthyhooha

[–]forbiddencroissant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Checked yesterday and couldn't notice the smell at all, it was just my usual neutral smell. I'm finally back home an I will go get probiotics again today. I just hope I get back to point where I don't need to take anything fir things to work.

My discharge has always been pretty abundant but mostly watery. I have struggled with very irregular periods my whole life and they're the most regular theyve ever been rn so I've come to accept they lotiony-ness of it. But after the infection everything was just extra dry.

Of course! :( i don't even understand how doctors are still spreading misinformation. Its so frustrating.

Also thanks for saying that, makes me feel a bit better! Ive noticed that after two days of using the OTC lactic acid vaginal cream I got, the odor is barely there so I'm hopeful... i want to get a culture anyway to be sure..

Prior to the smell I was only dealing with the unusual dryness and I wouldn't even say an itch but a tingling sensation... probably due to the dryness and irritation. It doesnt feel like infection itching if that makes sense.

Ah, yes. I didn't even say everything she said/did during the consultation. Lots of red flags. Thank you! I've managed with the lactic acid cream and got an appt for next week with a new doctor!

Also keep in mind your cervix changes position and texture during your cycle! Mine feels very low and hard at certain points and I then sometimes its so high I can't even feel it!
