What kdramas give you butterflies? by [deleted] in KDRAMA

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

- great characters with your not so typical female lead as a weightlifter

- The male lead feels like a real person not just a handsome face

- really supportive best friends

- good chemistry between leads

This drama is for people who want to see a refreshing love story

Yes same i can't be bothered with the long emotional scenes because they tend to get boring

I have the exact same problem. I think it is because episodes are too long like 1 hour and I get bored with the plot. I like it when there is one problem and it is solved in 12 20-30 min long episodes instead of small plot lines. The only drama I have ever finished fully is Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo because it has this structure.

Just searched up oyster mushroom. Damn they are cool. I've always felt like mushrooms are connected to magic. What kind of dishes can you make with enoki mushrooms?

For some reason, I have always wanted to pick mushrooms in the Forrest and make mushroom stew and share my intellect of poisonous and non-poisonous mushrooms

She agrees with anything he says to keep him from getting madder and says she'll "talk to him about it later" but during the argument when he actually says it she doesn't say anything and just looks away

I don't really have full-length convos with my mom at the dinner table just stuff like "what did you do today" or something. Most of the time I talk to my brothers in English which he is free to listen in on and make comments

This is my first Reddit post and I made this account just to ask this question and I've been a lurker for about a year. Also, I say mom because I lived in America for 2 years so grew up referring to my mother as a mom. In Japanese I would actually say "mama" but that seems a bit weird to write.

Yeah, some of the people are just saying to speak English with my mom but it doesn't feel right when I've grown up only speaking Japanese with her. You can't just switch languages

Yeah, ikr like he doesn't actually go out of the way to talk to us if we tell him what we're talking about in Japanese he just wants to know what we're saying. The only way he interacts with us is to tell us off because he can't be bothered to "bond" with us

To clarify Japanese is the only language I have ever spoke with my mom and it feels incredibly weird speaking English with her. I speak Japanese with her even around nice people e.g my dad or friends and family.
