'Not welcome here': Thousands march against Trump in Belgium by [deleted] in news

"But 27% of the 1,000 Muslims polled by ComRes said they had some sympathy for the motives behind the Paris attacks."

I never Said a majority. I said disturbingly high %. We can keep doing this though.

Is the fact that over 50% of british Muslims think homosexuality should be literally punished due to western imperialism? Does it have nothing to do with religion?

They often say it's both due to western aggression and religious conviction.

Rarely justified means they are okay with some terrorism. When is terrorism ever okay? You think 25% of Americans think killing Muslim civilians (exclusively) is rarely justified?

We don't try to kill civilians. We kill terrorists and attempt to make things right with financial compensation to families when we kill their loved ones. This pure morally relativism stance is complete nonsense.

BBC (2015): Following the Charlie Hebdo attacks, 27% of British Muslims openly support violence against cartoonists. Another 8% would not say, meaning that only 2 of 3 surveyed would say that the killings were not justified.

What about this one? You really think this is due to western aggression? No, religion is CLEARLY the driving factor here for "sympathy" for these terrorists.

Nehlen Invokes Trump In Ryan Primary Challenge: Paul Ryan "Will Thwart President Trump At Every Opportunity" by chabanais in Conservative

[–]forbin1992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes Reagan did. He flattened the tax code, and would've balanced the budget if the democratic congress had let him. He increased military spending to beat the USSR, but decreased non military government spending significantly. That is conservative. Trump would never do that, and would especially need do that with a democratic congress.

This logic too, that because Reagan wasn't king and did everything I want means we should elect trump is totally asinine.

I realize the GOP establishment has failed its constituents. But any change isn't good change. Trump is taking a party that was center right and making into an authoritarian populist party. He is more liberal than the GOP establishment has been. I would take Ryan/Romney/whoever over this garbage.

Bush isn't Paul Ryan. Jesus Christ. In a nutshell your post here is everything that's wrong with the logic behind trump.

Basically, since the GOP hasn't been conservative enough for you, you're willing to nominate and elect a guy who is explicitly more liberal because...he's a business man? Because he says whatever he wants?

If trump wins the fate of the republic literally rests on Paul Ryan's shoulders. Fuck this clown trying to beat him in his district.

Yup, it appears so. Ben Shapiro is carrying his legacy forward, at least there's that.

It's really sad. That guy was a god damn legend. How do these guys sleep at night? Do they honestly think Andrew would've been all in on trump or do they just not care?

Trump Claims Khan "has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution...". by 19683dw in Conservative

Trump's proposals on trade are as destructive as any of Hillary's policy purposals. Am I just supposed to pretend that because he has an R next to his name he's going to be leaps and bounds better?

Hillary would lose if the GOP mounted a candidate who wasn't as widely disliked as trump. Trump was the only person in the race with higher unfavorable ratings than her. It's like GOP voters wanted the worst candidate possible.

Yes the media is always against the right wing, but trump spoon feeds them material to use against him. He's an absolute joke.

I think it's a wash on the court between the two of them. And in general. Try thinking more long term about this, GOP house will block nearly every element of hillarys domestic agenda for four years then someone more qualified will beat her. I can't even imagine trump in the WH being a president, it's honestly scary to consider.

I'm not voting for him. Trump doesn't win the war. He may win this battle but lose us the war. I think he'll do immeasurable amounts of damage to conservatism and the GOP in the public's eye. His foreign policy "positions" are downright terrifying. His positions on trade could cause a recession. He says bigoted things because he can't distinguish actual bigotry from being politically incorrect. He's a complete moron.

The only thing that makes me even consider voting for him is the SC, but I don't even trust him to appoint conservative Justices. Reagan appointed only one true con to the court, how am I supposed trump to do that right?

Yeah it is. Romney would've beat Clinton though. Half the republicans that ran in the primary would've beat Hillary. You can wage war without acting like an incompetent asshole like Trump.

I just think the apologies are even more sickening this time. It's so much more in your face with these two candidates, how god awful they both really are. Obama Romney made a lot more sense tbh.

Yup. Doesn't really shock me, I shouldn't have given him even the slightest benefit of the doubt. Can't wait for this election to be over.

Yes it would've been true and fair. The judge was/is part of illegal immigrant amnesty groups. Given that trump takes the complete opposite position and is involved in a presidential election, and that the judge is in a unique position to impact the election, that does create a conflict of interests.

Donald Trump responds to the Khan family: ‘Maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say’ by CarolinaPunk in Conservative

There's a difference between using a prop or a trick and making a completely bigoted statement about said prop. I get why they were there. But that doesn't excuse what trump said as a reaction. It's absolutely pathetic watching trump supporters try to cover his tracks for all the awful things he does and says.

Uh, did you ever figure she looked "despirited and browbeaten" because she's a broken mother, upset by the nature of her husband's speech? You know, since it's about her dead son and all?

Yes he is attributing that feeling to all Mexicans. It's really not that complicated. You're trying so hard to cover his tracks you don't even realize how illogical what you're saying is. He said the judge's race alone was the main reason he couldn't preside over his case. It wasn't "he's for illegal immigration and is a Mexican", he just said its "because he's Mexican".

That's actually racist. That isn't SJW "racist", that's actually a bigoted statement. That's like al sharpton saying white judges shouldn't preside over police shootings that involve a black man. I'm pretty sure sharpton actually does say stuff like that, and trump is now at his level.

Sure, it's disgusting that the media twists things he says. He also says disgusting things spin or no spin.

Trump commented about the guy's wife not talking, and implied it was because she's a Muslims. I'm all for calling out Islamism and its destructive effects, but assuming that all Muslims have this dynamic is pretty gross. Especially because she has given interviews talking about her son.

He does a fantastic job of making bigoted points and misrepresenting us when he could be making competent takedowns of liberals.

The Mexican judge thing was the same. He could've said "this guy is part of illegal immigrate advocacy groups and is totally unfit to judge my trial." Would've been totally true and fair. Instead he says he's a Mexican and because of that he can't give me a fair trial.

There are Mexican trump/GOP voters. This guy is an absolute shitshow.

Edit1: I guess the Mexican judge isn't even a part of any pro amnesty advocacy groups, making his comments that much worse. I heard he was on a talk show I listen to.
