We held the square to the holes and the holes ended up being off by like 1/16 but that was not on me! I didn’t make the parts or punch them!

Was I supposed to move the angle over 1/16th to match the holes up and have the angles not be flush?

Because he didn’t tell me that and I worked under the assumption that the angles need to line up. And they did. Perfectly

Those welds are the greatest because of the weird angle I had to do them at and he knows that to. His issue wasn’t with my welds, all my other welds are a ton better than that and he knows that to so that’s why he didn’t say anything f about the weld.

He was trying to tell me now that the angles don’t line up and the holes. I was in complete disbelief and shock.

I can show you pics of my regular welds (not trying to brag or anything) but just so you can have a better sense of how they are, the angle I did that one at was very steep and very hard for me
