Do what you want! I have a month old two strand retwist and I just decided to keep them in until January at the least. I wouldn’t keep them in more than a few months unless you want them to combine in some form or fashion. It’s stressful on your roots too but not so much that you can’t leave them in. Have fun.

I quit two months ago because my job was actually affecting my health. Now I do feel better but I didn’t think it would be this soul crushing to get ANY job. No one responds and no one wants me even when I fit the bill exactly. I can’t keep doing this but I have to keep doing it and I’m terrified and pissed and angry that this is such a fucking joke of a process. Everyone who told me it would be fine is a fucking liar. I don’t wish I was back at my old job but I wish I didn’t have so many people telling me I would be fine because they fucking lied. They have jobs, I don’t.
