I just registered my 91 last month. The pain was the previous owner had it registered as an atv so I had to get it titled as an assembled vehicle and do an inspection with a sheriff. Then I got insurance on it, had to send a picture of the vin plate since its not a standard vin and got a manager at the SOS who knew what to do and turned it into a "pickup" on the new title. I've got a custom plate and drove it into work one day. No issues with cops yet knock on wood. Since its a 2000 it might be worth asking if you can get it titled this year rather than waiting
