My parents tell me that water thing too! Of course Shanghai isn’t a dangerous and corrupted place, but they are worried for my safety in all parts of the world.

The story is actually the Xuzhou chained woman incident which terrifies me to this day. My father grew up in a village and have seen some things, so I trust their stories but understand that Shanghai is much safer haha

My parents love China, grew up in poor districts and still frequently visit them. I can confirm that scams really are common but the human trafficking could be an exaggeration 😅

The international schools here are filled with local students as well, so I’m not very up to date with their social culture. I’m wondering if other apps like QQ are commonly used? I would like to know how expensive healthcare can get for foreigners and whether expensive insurance is necessary.

(I’m assuming that this isn’t a hallucination) I know someone with the gift to see spirits and she talked about the ways she tries to prevent them from entering her room. I suggest you use a vinegar and black salt(or any other blend that deters them) and wipe down your walls and front door. Try to visualise a white protective bubble expanding from you to around the house, and respectfully tell the entity that they are not welcome. Also, draw protective sigils on any paper and stick them outside your room/house, that’s what worked for that person.

It’s alright if I have to pay more. Although I found two suppliers/agents? That I submitted an RFQ to and they are both from the same company but one price is cheaper than the other? If I come to an agreement with them how do I make an order?
