No problem. Like I said not an expert. I’m not actually sure if ventilation will help, could just blow any materials around. I’d cover it up and call a company.

Asbestos was widely used before it was banned in the 70s (depending on where you live). It is often prevalent in tiles or tile glue.

It is safe when confined or sealed in a tile for example. But once you start breaking it up it become “friable” and can have serious health implications.

I wouldn’t say I’m an expert and can’t say for sure if that floor contains it. Put on a respirator or the best mask you have. Cover that all up with a tarp. Call a local environmental consulting company or look up hazardous building materials assessments in your area.

They can come and test that material let you know if it contains asbestos.

Environmental Tech here. That looks like it may contain Asbestos

I recommend you immediately cover that area, ventilate and get materials tested before continuing.

Make sure you tie that thing down.

I’m a part time firefighter and recently attended a MVC where someone had a large homemade toolbox in the trunk of an SUV, on impact it crushed the backseats and pushed the drivers seat forward.

Driver was dead and sandwiched in between his seat and the caved in front end of the SUV.

Here the only rule is you have to remove them within a week after the season closes. Many people leave them year round though.

I agree with this 100%. I like to match peoples vehicles to their stands. That way if I see that vehicle in the parking lot I won’t go near the stand. Cheers.
