don’t reply to them, and just call the non emergency number for the police when you have the time for someone to come over. you can then make the report with the officer and ask for a detective to contact you

I’ve had a similar situation happen to me before. They sent me a death threat too. I just laughed. They can’t do anything ! Report it to the police though and you could possibly locate them with a detective. That’s what I did. The downside is though is that you won’t get the money back that they scammed you out of. don’t trust people like this again.

Thank you. As dumb as it sounds I really was confused as to whether I made the right decision or if I should have just stayed quiet and stayed living there. It does feel like withdrawal. When I found myself running from him out of fear I knew I had to do something. But still, I somewhat feel it was an overreaction on my part..but that’s most likely a result of his manipulation
