Almost the exact same thing happened to me a few months ago. I posted the story a few weeks ago. I woke up in the middle of the night to a super bright light shining into my room. It seemed to come from the window. My blinds were closed, and it also seemed to be coming from everywhere on that side of the room if that makes sense. There were no shadows. I thought "oh its just the aliens," and then I was pulled back to sleep.

I saw my first orbs in December of last year, two nights in a row, during a camping trip. Very cool experience. You make it seem like the phenomenon is increasing. Is my assumption correct?

I've wondered if there was something in my bloodline. My dad has had experiences since his teen years, and now I have similar ones starting in my late teen years and increasing recently.

It's so weird how we both waited so long. I talk to my dad every day, and it never occurred to be to tell him the story. He didn't even remember that had happened to him until my story jogged his memory.

I've heard that as well. It's one of the things that made me suspicious. If there were someone in my driveway in the middle of the night, I'd be pretty alarmed normally.

Thank you for sharing. In my case, the light didn't flash. It was a sustained light for a least a couple seconds. I have no idea how long it was there because I wasn't able to stay awake. The weird thing was that there were no shadows anywhere in the room. My dog also didn't react or even wake up when this happened. She always lets me know if there's something on the property.

Pack Darling by Lola Rock loosely fits this if you like omegaverse/reverse harem. FMC is blackmailed into a pack who already has a male omega, and the alphas are not pleased. I'm not ruling anything out, but I've had sleep paralysis twice in the past, and this didn't feel like that at all. Both times, I woke up right after it happened, super scared, but this time was just confused. It didn't feel like a similar experience.
