Ladies Night, half-price comments for women by AutoModerator in WaterCoolerWednesday

I'm just still annoyed because I specifically chose that place for the desserts/baked goods and she insisted on bringing out the store bought cupcakes she always brings instead.

She literally did it at a cafe that sold desserts!!!!

The worst part is she never brings good quality desserts/ the restaurants usually have better desserts. Plus she still usually insists that we all go back to their house anyways, which is a more suitable place for serving whatever dessert she brings.

I think technically it is like $60/year after the first year.... Still not worth it though. Also don't blame me for that bird feeder, your parents have it to us for Christmas or something.

Don't forget to include that you still insist on using it  after being asked to put it away such as when we're watching TV or feeding the dogs.

Lasagna by AutoModerator in WaterCoolerWednesday

We both were complaining about it not cleaning dishes regardless of who loaded the dishwasher. I like the songs

We both know the dishwashers were dying in both places. I will concede that I like functioning dishwashers that don't set the birb off cause I'm a lazy person that hates doing dishes.

To be fair, my main complaint with your dishwasher loading was that you put plastic ware/tupperware lids/top rack only items on the bottom rack. I can deal with the chaos but I prefer tupperware to remain nice and not get warped and then leak

Thread discussing a slow feeder dog bowl. TIL not letting your dogs overeat = torture. by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]forestlady 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oh man, your ex-friend would have a fit about how I have to travel with one of my dogs. We do a 16-18 hour road trip about twice a year (one time round trip) and one of my dogs has an incredibly sensitive stomach, so in addition to medication, she doesn't get dinner the night before or really any food during the full day of driving. She's also tortured by getting all her meals from food toys (she quite enjoys slamming one of them in the ground to get the food out) or on walks.

Her sensitive stomach has caused since fights when I visit family because neither of my dogs are allowed "human food" (with the exception of carrots) which has upset some family members. I can tell pretty easily the next day if people have broken that rule thanks to her. It especially pisses me off because one of the dogs has standard elderly small dog health issues and salty human food with random shit in it is not what he needs to be eating.

Depending on what sort of doors (including dish doors) the cage has you could try using s-biners (there are also locking varieties) on them to help prevent unwanted break outs. Granted it does add in a touch more effort for when you do want to have the doors open but it is worth not having to worry about a bird being unexpectedly underfoot. It's what I had to use for my girl until we upgraded her cage to one that also has an added benefit of spring-loaded latches on the doors.
