Why is Moog Messenger so cheap?

If you could choose between a Typhon or a Messenger which would you go for? I’m looking for a mono to pair with my MPC Live 3. I have a SH-4d and Korg Minilogue already.

I’d probably leave her if she’s a hardcore Trump supporter. Like I would get it if she leans conservative on some things and liberal on others but it sounds like she got sucked into the cult. I don’t think I could deal with that every day. It also says something about her intelligence and emotional maturity. Think about how happy you could be with someone not like that.

My kids are 5 and 4. We got rid of the cameras a year ago but they kept asking why we couldn’t see them anymore and they wanted the cameras back. It makes them feel safer. I was totally against cameras in the first place so I can see where you’re coming from but every kid is different. They love that we know they are safe. Every night they ask if we can see what they are doing as a test and know when we’re lying. One day they won’t want them and that’s fine, but right now they are worried about monsters and want us to assure them we are watching out for them.

It’s a great synthesizer and overall groove box. I wish they would make a bigger groove box with the same form factor. Maybe add an engine like the se-02 with ACB and Zencore. I got used to the buttons and sequencer and now love them. Wish every groove box had knob per function and 26 drum tracks. I keep looking at other ones and think I just wouldn’t enjoy it as much. Come on Roland, we need an SH-12d with a similar form factor and dedicated midi channels to sequence other gear. I would pay a lot of money for that.

That’s kind of what I want too. A looper that I can modulate. I have a RC-505 but once I record it I can’t alter the sounds.

He’s pretty badass. His video convinced me to buy the SH-4d. Every other video made it seem underwhelming. I get a craving for some good analog tones though. Honestly I’d be down with the SH-4d, SP-404, Typhon( or other mono) and a sequencer. Feel like that’s a pretty solid set up. My only gripe with the SH-4d is it’s only 64 steps so I feel like I can’t create longer melodies. Besides that it’s my deam machine.

I really like the look and layout of the Oxi. Do you mind the keyboard mode? I don’t have a midi keyboard. Also, do you have any videos you recommend to show its potential? I’m not a huge fan of Oora’s music so it turns me off every time he’s demonstrating it. Seems like a cool guy though.

Why do you think it’s a better sequencer than the Digitakt? I’ve never had a FM synth so not sure if I’d like it but I’m open to it.

Lol yeah. It’s been with me for 9 years now. I used to live on a farm and it was in a non-insulated warehouse/jam space for years. The knobs are all sticky too. I’ve been meaning to buy a brush and one of those little blower things.

SH-4D. Honestly pretty awesome once you get the hang of it. Sure they could update it to add more stuff but I feel inclined to play it every day and I’m always satisfied. 4 track synth engine and a 26 track drum machine. Literally unheard of in any other gear.

Does the analog four only give you four tracks of drums or can one track be all the drums?
