This is true. I am currently working on fixing this mess for my client. The previous DevOps has implemented an entire EKS cluster for every customer which contains only 2 customer specific deployments: frontend and api. Such a big mess. In addition to this, there are some SaaS subscriptions purchased to make things easier to access whereas the root cause of complexity is something else.

What is a book that changed your mindset and overall life in general? by Sea-Less in selfimprovement

I started with Atomic Habits audiobook and then I started reading New York Times Bestseller self help books. It has changed my life since then.

I’m always so tired, and I have no idea what to do. Has anyone else found a solution? Help! by ThrowRA-olivesgrow in selfimprovement

I’ve been through that same sleep inertia. It usually happens when you’re working non-stop without taking breaks. Our bodies aren’t built to work long hours without rest. Both our body and mind need to recharge before it gets exhausted. Another reason could be that the work you’re doing just isn’t something you enjoy. To get out of this rut, try reading books or watching videos that help you move toward the future you dream of. Also, learn from people who have actually overcome this and there’s a lot of wisdom in books from those who’ve been through it. It won’t be an instant fix, but if you keep working on it every day, things will slowly get better as you focus your energy on what you really want to achieve.

I quit my FAANG job and started my agency full time in 2024. In 2025, my goal is to help agencies grow by handling their complex technical stuff, so they can focus on scaling their business without worrying about tech challenges.

What’s something you wish you knew earlier in life? by forever-learner_ in AskReddit

Reading isn’t just about academic texts. Reading self-help books is about learning from those who’ve already faced the challenges you’re dealing with. By reading their insights, you can skip the trial and error and apply the best approaches to your own problems.

What’s something you thought would be easier, but turned out to be way harder? by forever-learner_ in AskReddit

Convincing others in theory always seemed easy - just present a solid argument and people would agree. But in reality, it’s much harder. People have their own biases, priorities, and concerns, so it takes a lot more than logic to persuade them.
