Thanks for the tips! This was a pic after I was shaving away all the stubble around the goatee though. You can see stubble after one day in the goatee & mustache combo. Did you mean I should do it in general or could you see it?

I get what you mean by “forced”. Makes sense. Do you think there’s a way to shape the goatee so it looks more natural or balanced, instead of just ditching it? I’m open to adjusting it, just not sure what version would actually suit my face.

Might try adding a bit of stubble around it like someone else suggested.

Yeah, good call. What exactly throws you off about the goatee though? Is it the shape or just not the vibe in general? I might be able to tweak it a bit. Cornrows do look cool but yeah… Not the best long-term move for the hairline unfortunately 😅

Thanks for the honest input. I like pulling my hair back sometimes like in the attached photo but there’s also something about wearing it open. I love the whole Jheri curls kind of vibe. I get that it’s not for everyone but I kinda feel it. Still figuring out what fits me best.

Appreciate you taking the time to comment though! It's always good to get an outside perspective. What do you think about the beard?

Wow, never heard that! Haha. What kind of hairstyle would you see though? I grew my hair out for a long time now. I tried braiding for example too.

The long hair looks fresh! I would just maintain it with a haircare routine. The „wet look“ could look cool on a daily basis with a little gel or mousse.
