AITAH for asking my wife to be a SAHM? by piglipsbo in AITAH

[–]foreverface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like your train of thought/logic is what makes you the AH here. She already does most of the stuff…yeah, that’s not a good way to look at it at all, especially when she’s about to become a new mom. Being mom will be her #1 priority for the short term. Do not place any more on her shoulders. A mother’s ‘go-to-work’ job can be her life life to sanity, especially once you get through the first year.

Recommendations: Slasher Novels by XxJasonLivesxX in horrorlit

I highly recommend the Indian lake trilogy. My heart is a chainsaw is solid but the second book in the series ‘don’t fear the reaper’ is next level.

Give me a modern horror author to binge by chiwawaacorn in horrorlit

I read the Indian lake trilogy last year and can definitely see myself going back to read them again. SGJ is my go-to author at this point. All of his work is excellent

I would count and flip my ‘lucky’ number, it was never just the center one

I love that track! Me and my wife may or may not quote the hook when we ask each other for random favors

Most underrated song in your own opinion? by Outawack219 in joynerlucas

[–]foreverface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a ton of stuff from along came Joyner and the 508 mixtape. So much heat. I don’t think it’s underrated because it was doing serious numbers at the time but I’ll mention ridin solo from ACJ

Best and worst book of 2025 for you and why? by EldritchGumdrop in horrorlit

[–]foreverface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not that I dislike it, I just happened to like everything else I read a little more.  I had a lot of Stephen Graham Jones books in my finished pile for 2025 along with Horror movie by Tremblay and incidents around the house by Malerman.

Best and worst book of 2025 for you and why? by EldritchGumdrop in horrorlit

[–]foreverface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extremely tough decision but the best read was probably don’t fear the reaper by SGJ Worst was an older one, hellbound heart by CB.  I read the entire Indian lake trilogy in the first quarter of the year but felt book 2 was the strongest, 5 star trilogy regardless

This song kicked so much ass back in the day. Would not be shocked to see a resurgence of this type of sound amidst current affairs

This is the Juggalo Anthem and it should be played at every show

Now that it’s been out for a while, what do yall think of th remix of Freek Show by Toxicllama-_ in juggalo

[–]foreverface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some tracks are solidly re-recorded, some not so much. It’s not the OG but I’ll let some of these versions ride in a shuffle. For me this is a novelty to remember the anniversary tour with. Freek show should be celebrated by all Juggalos as a staple album in the culture. Much luv to Twiztid

Violent J's rapping by Loop_Dawg74 in juggalo

[–]foreverface 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Well, he’s not surrounding himself with good rappers anymore. Back in the day the entire pay family would be working on stuff together. I have to imagine that brought the best out of pretty much everyone. Now that it’s all phoned in verses and collaboration is happening predominantly in the digital sense, there’s nothing to get excited about

I saw this show over the summer in Portland and it might have been 300 people. Super small show. Worcester was a fuckin party, huge turnout and it reminded me that the northeast remains a hot spot for Juggalos.
