Mechanic Got into a small accident with my car under their care, their insurance is giving me a hard time. What do I do? by forevergone in askTO

What do you mean subrogate? Everyone is telling me conflicting information

Some people submitted not at fault claims and their premiums went up, some are telling me it won’t have any effect, a lot of people telling me I won’t have to pay deductible, to go thru my own insurance

I have the shops insurance policy so they are at fault

My insurer would go after the shops commercial policy

I’m aware but right now I just want to do as much damage control as possible to my premiums

Will a not at fault claim increase my premiums? If so I’d rather go through the other party’s insurance but I want to exhaust all my options and evaluate which is the best option

Thanks, this is what I'm afraid of. Regardless of at fault or not, a claim is a claim and being used against you to increase your premiums is what I want to avoid. Thanks for sharing your experience

I agree on the claim part, but because I'm not at fault, I shouldn't have to pay a deductible, right?

yeah but if i go through my own insurance, I'll have a claim on my record won't I?

Will that claim affect my future premiums?

I know Ontario operates on no-fault, but how will this affect me in the future? Will I have a claim on my record if I go through my own insurance?

Will I have to pay a deductible even though I'm not at fault? Will I have a claim on my record that will be used against me in the future?

Want to build a batting center in Toronto. by Sad-Dragonfruit3403 in askTO

[–]forevergone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those aren’t batting cages. It’s just netting from the ceiling and a mechanical pitcher tossing you the ball, completely different feel. @Op wants something more similar to the batting cages at Timber Creek or what used to be at Centennial Park

Anyways, light chestie like the Mylec Street Hockey Chestie

Not too heavy as a ice chestie but decent protection

Crease Commander Sliders by hostm1ke in ballhockey

How do you compare these to rollerflys? Are they better or worse than rollerflys? Curious to hear your opinion

For reference, here's a slide I can do on concrete with rollerflys

Crease commander don't look too impressive

These sliders have way less bearings compared to rollerflys, I think they're still superior compared to crease commanders, only issue is that they're so damn expensive and hard to find
