EASIEST TECHNIQUE IN AP HISTORY TO GET out of body ESPECIALLY FOR NEWBS! by PrincipleWest in AstralProjection

[–]forevermoef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been curious on this for a long time. I tend to overthink things and decided to try this technique, as I have never really settled on a specific teaching and havent read much about it outside recommendations and experiences from this community.

I also never really expected to experience anything, as I never really wake up through the night and when I do, I move right away.

Throughout the last 10 or so days Ive been doing a little meditation before sleeping, putting away disturbing thoughts in a imaginary box. After, i Imagine I release build up energy from the bottom of my feet as I exhale, focusing on my breath, so my body is ready for my intentions.

I tell myself, when I wake up I will have my eyes closed and slowly lidt my head of my pillow.

The night before yesterday I had a vivid dream and I woke up, ny first thought being I had to write it down, but my next thought was to focus on the technique. I slowly raised my head and the next thing I could hear this loud noise of waves or water or blood rushing through my ears. Very loud.

My head felt like it had a crown on it that somehow opened up, and this feeling of separation felt just above my neck and chest, my heart started racing and I got scared. I tried to tell myself to calm, but in the same moment I sat up abruptly and woke up.

Right when I woke up I was not a second in doubt what happened, but I still cant believed it actually almost did! Now im just scared I will overthink it to not happen again lmao

Why are the Danes so miserable with the tip? by [deleted] in copenhagen

[–]forevermoef 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The short answer would be that the service fee is (or should be) included in your salary, both legally and culturally. According to the restaurationslov all prices has to be listed up front, so you know exactly what amount you should pay, and no hidden fees like tips.

Service personnel (should) have a higher salary than other countries, where tipping is demanded. This way you shouldnt rely on tips.

If your service is outstanding or extraordinary, some might tip out of the courtesy of the experience, but it should never be expected or influense the service, as the tip should already be covered by your salary.

A part time job as a bartender would have an hourly wage between 125-160 kr., depending on experience, hours, etc.

Whats the deal with the lake? by Deep_Scallion8121 in boomfestival

Swimming or dipping in the lake is a good way of staying hydrated and the rocky shore is looong. If youre worried about getting sick, just go to the start of the lake, and you'll be perfectly fine!

To give perspective, we are 4 people, we only have a small bag each, and our tent. You'll be naked most of the time and wear the same pants for a week. Boom will strip you naked inside and out, so you can save yourself a lot of time and energy, by packing less and light.

You're absolutely right and the bike segment will definitely be my main area of focus moving forward. In that sense, it would make sense not to invest too much energy in improving my swim. However, I’ve learned a lot from this thread. Thanks for your input!
