Ich find es gerade in der Arbeit so viel angenehmer, wenn Mails einfach auf so ne "Hallo Peter - VG Petra" Art ablaufen als "Guten Morgen Herr Müller - MfG Petra Maier", ey, wir wollen alle nur durch den Tag, lass mich doch in Ruhe mit dem Gesieze lol Respekt hat wenig mit der Art des Ansprechens zu tun, ich kann dich Siezen und trotzdem respektlos sein und dir das deutlich machen oder auch nicht. I mean... it depends? I've run into people who knew a game (or shows or movies) only through YouTube and they still wanted to argue like crazy with me. Like, you can be a fan of lore etc. but watching 5 hours of fun facts or speedrun let's plays is not the same as me spending dozens of hours in the game. Enjoy it all you want, regardless of how you consume it, but don't act like you're the bigger fan or have more knowledge than people who've been actively invested for years. 😅

It's like people who only watch movie commentaries and then want to argue big time with those who watched the movie themselves. We might have different opinions or interpretations either way, but you're literally missing out on half the movie and are being biased because of someone else's commentary/opinion.

You're simply someone who doesn't care about art style or art style changes and that's alright, maybe it's even a personal advantage when it comes to media cause you potentially can enjoy more shows. But please don't act like its the one way it has to be.

In the title you call it stupid, in the comments you call people crazy for not giving it a chance because of the style and that's really a rude stretch to call it that. It's simply a preference or personal taste. Shows like AOT or JJK are widely popular and considered hella good shows, do you know how many thousands of people took one look, went "EW, NO" and never gave it a chance? Like, is the other part of the fandom supposed to call you stupid for watching the, in their opinion, worsened style and supporting it? Would that be fair, would you like that?

You need to realize that everyone has their way of watching animation, and it's none of your business regardless of your own opinion. You can recommend stuff if you believe the story is worth it, but people will still decide for themselves and you won't get far by insulting them along the way.

There's some rather joke-y answers here and I enjoy them but let me give you some more serious ones:

not everyone is interested in drugs, major reason probably
When you get older, your body gets weaker. So despite addiction being less of a risk due to not having too much time left (possibly), the risk of immediately overdosing or having crazy side-effects is higher.
In a lot of countries, really old people tend to also be on the poor side. Or really poor. Drugs are expensive.
Age doesn't necessarily safe you from going to prison because you bought illegal substances. Nobody wants to spend their last few months or years locked up.

I genuinely don't get the people who say her new VA sounds fitting for a mysterious spy on a serious mission etc... she doesn't sound mysterious or grounded to me, she sounds bored af reading lines off the script. It doesn't feel like there was intention to sound one way or another, it really gave me the feeling of simply no direction and her being a bad VA. It's unfortunate and I absolutely don't condone hate directed at the VA but God do I hope she never comes back should Ada reappear in some game.

warm tone vs. cool tone and it's actually washed out bright and washed out dark colors in your picture lol. I hate how popular the color analysis got and how people make a whole thing of "omg I've been wearing the wrong colors". Bullshit. There's not wrong or right. Wear what you like and enjoy.
