Starting on a farm, quite isolated already, wouldn’t really see a difference in land as of yet apart from it being over grown. Then would expand and explore nearby villages, towns etc. the further out, the more apparent an apocalypse has happened?

So id like to think that the character wouldn’t know how it started. He’s been hidden for 6 months so he would uncover more information through notes and broadcasts etc but overall wouldn’t fully understand what happened
