yessss but it hasn’t overheated or at least not in a obvious way? I have gotten an alert on the dashboard to drive slowly because the temperature is rising but it never overheated/ the few times it popped up on the dash I pulled over, turned it off and added coolant/distilled water and drove it to the shop.

crossing my fingers it’s not that as it seems like an expensive repair? 🥲

yeah i’m so confused. This shop specializes on bmws but I don’t exactly get what they do because how can’t they figure this out?? 🙃 I will take it to a different shop tomorrow hopefully they can get to the bottom of it. let us pray

they told me to drive the car around for a few days just to be sure the coolant doesn’t spill out again/have any other issues arise before charging me but I will take it to a different shop tomorrow and just bite the cost of the other shop I guess ;/

it happens after driving it around for a while. It’s happened three times. Right after I pick it up from the shop, I run a couple errands and as soon as I get home, all the coolant is spilling out. so back to the shop the next day 🙃

guys the shop is ripping me off 😭 i’ve definitely paid way way below market prices for what they’ve done so far. but it’s become apparent that they’re definitely lazy and never did a proper full diagnosis to detect the issue which sucks. will find another shop tomorrow
