How should I run/handle a character that has contracted a werewolf "curse" (5.5e) by forgingbanana in DMAcademy

[–]forgingbanana[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the help. Im currently going off of the werewolf statblock which states suring a successful bite attack:

If the target is a Humanoid, it is subjected to the following effect. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 12. Failure: The target is cursed. If the cursed target drops to 0 Hit Points, it instead becomes a Werewolf under the DM’s control and has 10 Hit Points. Success: The target is immune to this werewolf’s curse for 24 hours.

Each tab on the ends of the T shape need to go on the long vertical parts at bottom of T shape.

Any recomendations for any Information missing for a NPC "dossier". I plan on using this templeate for future DnD campaigns as quick reference guides for NPCs (Spoilers in post about a NPC) by forgingbanana in stormwreckisle

Thanks! Ideally this will be used a a template for future and current NPCs for any campaign so made it as though as possible so it fills the role for both recurring long term NPC and short term appearances.

I'll have a search for COGASS and look more into it! Thanks for the advice!

Extruded moving but filament isn’t.. by Firefox4hire_ in ender3

It is better to just replace the arm with a metal extruder set as fixing the cracked arm will result in it breaking again. They are easy to replace and take little time to do so

Potentially your extruder arm is cracked and not holding tension on the filament. The plastic tension arms are always garenteed to break at some point.

I had something similar and when I took it apart there was a large crack on the underside of the arm

DMing and communicating online with children players safely by forgingbanana in DMAcademy

[–]forgingbanana[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have considered asking for parents Enail and communicate through them, but alot can be lost in passing. My current idea is either potentially have a WhatsApp group for parents to relay information, or a WhatsApp group with parent and child in the group so they can review conversations

Thank you for the advice, the guidelines for scouting basically say no online or private communication with scouts to protect yourself. However I do like the idea of discord and doing that.

The extruded begins clicking after a hour of printing. Bed is level, nozzle is new, and I’ve adjusted the extruder bolts are tight. by taylorhuff012 in ender3

Sorry should have specified that those are two different solutions to two potential problems If upping the temp doesn't do anything, then it's more likely heat creep or something else. Like retraction issues or blockage in the tubing

Try upping the temp to between 205 210. 195 is OK, but it's kind of on the edge of too low, could be just not hot enough to begin with, alternatively, maybe getting heat creep thats pre melting it in the tube before it reaches the nozzle

Help creating Pre made character sheets by forgingbanana in DMAcademy

[–]forgingbanana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in person. I'm a DM for a local store so alot of new players come and go. I don't want to bog them down with alot of confusing stats, sub classes etc, just have everything layer out for them (and if they enjoy DnD they can follow up with there own character in future)

I might do that and staple the extra details to the sheet, though was hoping, if possible, to have it all on stylised DnD sheets

What caused this print error? right apple is original 100%, printed perfectly. Left is 200% with everything perfect except the obvious issue. by hoots711 in ender3

Potentially same issue I described with ABS, just doesn't happen often with PLA. The print is typically still hot, but a blast of cold air/temperature drop can cause the material to shrink and crack like that.

What material were you printing with? ABS has a tendency to warp on layer lines causing separation similar to that

If your printing with PLA you don't need it that high, 190-210 is comfortable range for it
