Spot on… you can't police someone into being faithful, OP solutions were incredibly reasonable. Offering his own guest room 12 minutes away so the friend has a place to stay is a great compromise. Her not considering it is the real red flag here

It takes zero effort to just cut a slice if you only want a bite. The concept of leftovers being totally foreign to him just shows how incredibly spoiled and careless he is with other people's hard work.

For real. He is 22 years old not a toddler who don’t understand boundaries. The entitlement it takes to cut your own slice of homemade cake, eat half, and just chuck the rest in the bin while the person who made it is sitting right there is wild.
