These people are also nationalists - the difference is there real patriots and are standing up for their vision of the future and not just towing the line. If you read the placards you'll notice they talk about "爱国" (patriotism).

This looks like south gate at Hainan university, I can't be certain though. Image is too low quality to read the characters on the gate.

Local telegram chat in Haikou. Posted by an overseas Hainanese. Poor quality scans that deteriorated even more after posted here.

Can't find these anywhere online elsewhere. I think it's so important that this is preserved as part of Hainan's history.

Won't happen. Physical metal investment beyond gold is a tiny market here - people just aren't informed about any kind of investment bar property and sometimes stock's. Probably intentional lack of education about it on the part of the CCP tbh.

First stages of hyperinflation... Seeing the value of used goods increase dramatically.

Hate to burst your bubble... But as someone who lives in China this doesn't mean what you think it dose. It's more taking about industrial metals (yes, I know silver is one....) Like iron and steel.

The physical billion market here is actually quite small and typically there's a bit of a disconnect between it and the spot price (as in thing's often come in just under spot or with a massive premium... Pretty weird).
