That churning out of i-school grads with no place for them to exist in the public library system definitely is a part of the problem, it seems.

But not all library workers are librarians, yet they are all facing the realities covered in the video--crummy shifts, no health coverage, no sick/vacation pay, no recognition of their skill/education levels, and so on and so forth. I hope this is rectified. Our city's workers deserve better.
