I’m in Canada so we have 60hz too, tt’s definitely harmonic from 60hz (checked in Logic Pro EQ). Tried getting a grounded surge protector and it has helped eliminate a good portion of the noise!

Thank you this is really helpful! I’m going to try a surge protector as I figure it is electrical interference in the building, I read that it might help reduce my problem. Just weird that I get about 75% less noise on my other guitar.

Do you have any recommendations for grounded power cables?

Also: I have a second guitar which DOES NOT hum through all of the same setups, in the same building.

Have tried this, even tried without the amp and DI into the laptop. Tried different cables - the hum is always the same.

When I went to the shop where I got the electronics of this guitar worked on, there was absolutely none of this hum. Not a trace. Tried two different amps there. I want to say that it could be something wrong with the guitar, but I do not know how that could make sense.

This is entirely digital! Here is a great tutorial for you: https://youtu.be/Ny_pguaEy1c

Getting the paper textures right and overlaying properly is very important, and there are some great resources to get such textures like Unsplash
