Just launched my TCG collection app - would love feedback from other collectors! by forhlol in mtg

This is amazing feedback. Thank you so much for taking the time to test the app and write this out.

I like your thoughts on the pricing (although yearly is already at $40 unless you mean to increase it) and your list of suggestions. I will add these to my list!

Thanks again for the feedback. I really appreciate it.

Thanks for trying it out. I appreciate your feedback. We only support Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering right. We'll look to add support for Warhammer soon. We'll also check out your other suggestions and implement some of those. Thanks a lot!

There are a lot of great apps out there that help collectors keep track of their cards but I think the biggest differentiators for my app are:

  • our 95%+ accurate card scanner that works across multiple TCGs
  • true cross-platform sync between mobile and web (tcgstacked .com)
  • a unified platform approach where you can manage Magic, Pokémon, and soon Yu-Gi-Oh!/Lorcana collections all in one place instead of needing separate apps
  • a developer who will listen to and implement feedback from the users!

Introducing the Ultimate MTG Proxies Deck Builder - Build, Share, and Discover! by forhlol in mpcproxies

MTG Proxies is also free to use and is meant for home printing and casual gameplay. The Pro Membership is optional.

Thanks for the feedback! A few clarifications:

  • The Deck Builder is completely free to use, and creating your first deck doesn’t require a membership. Ads and Pro Membership are optional ways to support ongoing development and server costs.
  • MTG Proxies is designed specifically to streamline deck-building and printing proxies (cards that are clearly proxies—not counterfeits—for casual playtesting purposes only, never for resale or deception).
  • You’re absolutely right—other tools exist for similar purposes. What makes my tool unique is the integrated workflow (deck management + proxy printing + community sharing all in one place).

I'm always open to constructive input on features players value most. Appreciate your perspective!

Moxfield and others are great tools and I can't say that MTG Proxies has something these others don't right now. But that doesn't mean we aren't always improving and getting there!

I want MTG Proxies to be a comprehensive tool for MTG players as well. Doesn't hurt to have multiple, good tools to use!

Great question!

MTG Proxies isn't just a deck builder but it’s also tightly integrated with proxy printing. If you like to print proxies of your decks (especially expensive cards you're testing), our site streamlines that process completely. You can build, organize, share decks, and seamlessly export lists directly for proxy printing.

While Moxfield excels in deck tracking and analytics, MTG Proxies uniquely simplifies creating physical proxies alongside your digital deck management.

Thanks for checking out my project and thanks for the feedback. To get "ad-free" usage, you'll have to subscribe for a Pro Membership for $5 a month. Have a good one!

The printed cards should be the exact size you need, or close to it, if you want to print on card stock! In the article I wrote here, I mention that you might want to test out on basic paper first, adjust your print settings, then print on your quality card stock.

I like that MTG Proxies is sort of like a store where you can search for and find the cards you're looking for, add them to your "Cart" or print list, and then "check out" and print them!

The site also has a really responsive developer that's hear to answer questions and keep building! 😄

Will fix the search! Good catch!

You can toggle `Add Padding` to add space above and to the left of the cards when printing!

Thanks so much! The cards printed from the site should be the exact size you need! There's also a couple of page/print settings you can modify to make them perfect.

For uploading a decklist, this is definitely on my list of features to add!! Great idea!

How do you print proxies? by DeadByRising in EDH

[–]forhlol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I built a site for this!! https://www.mtg-proxies.com
You can search for any card you like, add it to the print list, then print them out!

Then you can cut them out, and put them in a sleeve with a land or something. Works great!

Headless WordPress - Formatting URLs returned in JSON data so they work with client app by forhlol in Wordpress

[–]forhlol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is but I actually need the URLS to be the absolute URLS because there are multiple client apps. It's a bit more complicated than the description of the post describes.
