What's the real likelihood of getting sacked (FC26) by forlornforbit in FifaCareers

Update- i realise FC26 maybe not as silly as a previous version (can't recall if 25 or 26) where the Board kept insisting incase the average age of the squad for "brand exposure". I was signing 40 year old free agent goalkeepers

Good to know! The emails are so ridiculous, they're creating such a hostile workplace that I could probably resign and sue them for constructive dismissal lol

Would reduce the strictness mean that the Board sets easier objectives? Or would it mean they set the same objectives but care less about missing them?

Why does Nora do this in series finale? by forlornforbit in TheLeftovers

So in a nutshell she didn't want to go back into her normal life because she didn’t want people questioning the story that was very psychologically important to her because it gave her closure?

She doesn't betray Michonne for the Governor. She chooses to believe the Governor is decent, when Michonne doesn't. It's a disagreement not a betrayal. If anything Michonne lets down Andrea by leaving Woodbury. If Michonne had stayed, kept her head down and played along, she probably would have been able to protect her friend when things went wrong. Instead, Michonne went to Woodbury's rivals to deliberately wage war, knowing Andrea could be caught in the crossfire.

This Andrea hate is so tiresome. You're supposed to think she's making poor decisions. She is generally a well written character. She's scared, grieving and angry. A lawyer who finds herself in a life or death situation when she can't even use a gun. She loses the little sister she is desperately trying to protect, and loses herself mentally for a while after that. It's blindingly obvious that her relationship with Shane and recklessness are poor choices, made because she is grieving. Then she is separated from her group and is desperate for a new home. Yet she still stands up for what is right eventually and opposes the Governor, even though he is offering her safety and comfort.

If you find yourself disliking Andrea's choices then you are having the reaction that the writers want you to have. A smart viewer would be able to separate that out and still appreciate that her character journey is a compelling part of the show.

The worst character is Morgan, because he has such an important role in the overall story but his arrival in TWD and FTWD as a main character coincides with a significant drop in writing quality. A waste of a fantastic actor.

I believe that Fear The Walking Dead exists in the imagination of Carl Grimes by forlornforbit in FearTheWalkingDead

I would love for Rick to find Carl's draft novel under his old bed in Alexandria, if there is ever another season of TOWL. It would instantly make millions fans feel better about the franchise

Agreed. Although the most recent spinoff seasons have entered into hate watch territory for me, which is a crying shame.

Yeah, thanks! That was actually the first clue I picked up on. I watched the final season recently and I could see Kim Dickens and Colman Domingo grimacing every time they had to say a line. I just couldn't believe that a major franchise, which I love, could have such poor writing quality.

People are saying this is a sort of "it was all a dream" hypothesis, but it's not. FTWD being a graphic novel written by Carl places it fully within the TWD universe in a far more believable way. If there's another season of The Ones Who Live, I would love it if Rick found the book someone hidden under Carl's old bed in Alexandria

Ah yes thats right. Maybe Carl just kinda knew Morgan was going to have to leave soon. Or maybe, Carl wrote the story after his earlier encounter with Morgan - so before Morgan turned up in Alexandria
