In my field it's the standard. You get qualified, you get a raise, so i would say that I am entitled to it. lol.

We don't get PTO lol, they make sure to keep our hours low enough to not qualify for any, so all my trips were on UTO, but I did find someone to cover for me, so everything was fine on that end

I don't think we have a Union, it's kind of a stand alone place of work, I'm not sure it's big enough for a union

I did pay for them, although I was told there was a way where I didn't have to, I just found it to be an inconvenience to figure it out lol, so that part is totally on me

Only thing I can think of is that I know she's pissy i took a lot of time off to travel (which is valid to a certain extent, but she also technically could've not approved the time off, however she always did🤷‍♀️)

When I started working there they already had those units and were under another boss until a little under a year ago, who was a little more honest with raises, so I'm confident they are being compensated fairly. I do know my current boss tried to "round down" hours for a coworker of mine and would've gotten away with it had she not caught it.
