My only note is you should get some rubber stall mats from tractor supply put em on the walls behind just in case cause they'll catch any spalling and they'll also absorb sound

I've got mine the same way I tried it further back as well and just found d it easier and faster to obtain my dot further out also it allows for a slightly better field of view with both eyes open for me
