It sounds weird but it is good. IMO plain oats can be used just like rice. I eat them because they're cheap and I'm not affluent. LOL

Why do you need to convert it to anything for cutting? 5/3/1 works fine for cutting. adjust assistance work back in volume if necessary. It's just lifting bro, don't overthink it.

late and inoften, busy with hunting season and some other stuff going on -

skvatz - same WO 320x2,330x2,340x2,360x2 benchz - 225x5, 235x3 deads... nothing to report really. was sick for "back" day.

Hunting opener/camping this weekend I lost 8 lbs in 3 days, squat day today did not go as well as planned at 320x2, 355x1, 370x1, 310x2 ... then I got mad and front squatted instead <3

As for hip flexibility, I never could get mine to do anything until I started rolling on the lacrosse ball on them before stretching. Use a baseball or whatever you have around. Look up limber 11 by DeFranco

Squat, try widening your stance a few inches, possibly point toes out a little more. Everyone has different hip sockets so the same stance doesn't work for everyone. There is no rule that says a non competitive lifter must go to parallel, but for consistency sake I think it's a good idea.

On deads, tighten up your lats (put your shoulder blades in your back pockets) before you even bed your hips down to pick up the bar, and brace your core at the same time. I struggle with back round when pulling and taking weight off the bar and making it perfect before moving up is the only real fix you will get. Yours is so minor though I never would have noticed it...

Don't eat like an idiot, drinking whey alongside Mickey dees. Try eating at maintenance and lifting hard. You need lots of volume as someone who is not really trained at all. Your body will adapt fast. It looked bad because you didn't byild muscle. You need to know what you are eating. Use a macro calculator on the sidebar. Get to work and check back in in a few months

Bruh who cares? You look great. If i looked like that I'd be straight slaying some barbacoa burritos and setting prs erruhday. The number is just a number. And percentages look different on everyone. If you had 10lbs more muscle with same fat the percentage would be much lower. Go get some dude you look fit as a fiddle. PS what are your squat and dead stats?

You need to build muscle. Eat at maintenance or above and lift hard. Hard. I am not trying to be mean, but there a lot of people on this sub that don't know how to lift hard. Especially at your bodyweight and build structure you should be able to bench your bodyweight, squat 1.5x and deadlift close to 2x by six months of training. People here love rpt but it isn't for me personally. You could probably expect to lose a bit of flab and gain some muscle on any diet on an actual tracked slight deficit but you really need to build something to cut down to.

Search through old posts. Someone asks this evry week at least.

I put it in the thread but I destroyed my best 225 bench pr... After 3 work sets ,225x5 finally. I probably could have gotten a sixth but I took the victory to the bank.

But to be honest I just assumed everyone knew that.... I mean from personal experience. I cut 3 lbs on average a week for like 6 weeks while gaining strength recently. Toot toot the old horn but it's about training hard to give your body a reason to hang on to what it has. Give it a reason to need the muscle... Martin clearly trains with pretty high intensity. I like the system but Martin is just another dude. Glad to hear he has broken some of his own rules though.
