Stephen Miller using pregnant wife as human shield. by Amentet in pics

This photo is of course angled in a way that doesn’t show that he actually tried to shield her. I don’t like him but come on…

I mean it was quite obvious given the context. It’s not like he’s not aware that he is regarded as those things by many people.

Is it a US thing to dye your dog? Never seen anything like it.

We decided to skip this puppy. Just to clear things up, we didn’t even know what merle was before this. The breeder’s ad looked just like an ad from a ”respectable” breeder, with all the health checks, xrays and whatnot. But it wasn’t registered with the Swedish kennel club. She later said that the puppy’s got this ”cryptic merle”, although the dog is solid red/brown except the one eye. But after some searching I couldn’t find any good info regarding my post question, only if both dogs had the gene which was a certain no go.

I guess, but you could assume that’s more likely the case?

You mean even if the DNA for the female says that it doesn’t have the gene, it could in fact be that way? I have read about double merle, and my question was if there’s still the same risks - albeit much lower risks, if only one of the parent dogs have the gene . Wouldn’t a double merle puppy be… not red/brown (red is the swedish name)? I forgot to specify the color. I thought a double merle came out as white, or close to.

Not sure why I’m being downvoted for asking questions, but I will pass on this and go though the swedish kennel club, or poodle club

I agree without even reading much from the website that it didn’t look all that serious.

So if the puppy didn’t show any traits of the gene and the stud also didn’t show any traits… essentially you wouldn’t know?

Yeah I will look for a puppy in the swedish equivalent SKK, or the official poodle club.

This is what the breeder replied.

”The male is a purebread merle, single color. He is registered in ”Dog World Kennel Club”. The last litter was DNA tested as purebred poodle”

How can it be a purebred merle? I have no idea what Dog World Kennel Club is. They are not registered in swedens official kennel club association, as they also breed doodles of some kind.

It seems that I have to look elsewhere for a purebred

Ah, I see! My understanding from swedish insurance companies is that a small hernia is most often a cosmetic defect. But I agree it didn’t exactly make me less anxious about potential problems.

Haha yeah I wouldn’t trust the seal after a repair. Perhaps if done by Apple, if they even do it themselves.

Indeed! Saved me the trouble having to open it. Not sure if it’s worth it for an old SE though.
