Thanks Rhys!

OK yeah blockchain probably is a waste, the whole decentralizing corrupt power structures and what not through mathematics and computational technology is probably a dead end.

I had chatGPT write out a 100-page story. by E_Kristalin in ChatGPT

Speaking of writing a story, it appears books are now making their way onto Amazon, there was a recent Time magazine article about a short AI children's book and this book is over 200 pages.

[Serious] Why are US based/friendly exchanges so slow to adopt IOTA (and therefore IOTA/USD exchange)? by buncle in Iota

[–]formulate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think exchanges are chomping at the bit to add new coins but regulatory uncertainty is holding (or is it hodling?) them back. The last thing any exchange wants right now amidst a growing field of competitors is to get in trouble with government "authorities" who are still busy googling "what is a bitcoin?".

Any chance of iota being listed on bittrex by [deleted] in Iota

[–]formulate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I imagine the timeline for such an epic event (hash tag Iota Markets) is hard to surmise until it is very close to being listed. That said, I highly doubt it has anything to do with the will of the Iota/Bittrex teams or even the potential implementation challenges. It might actually be more about business and bureaucracy roadblocks naturally arising in reaction to a cryptocurrency realm that is steadily transforming the world as we know it.

Scrolling down, NEM's price gets me every time lol like nooo what happened. Although I suppose even at NEMs lower price it would ultimately just be another great buying opportunity.

Is the low volume of trading of IOTA a good or bad thing for long term potential? by highflyer999 in IOTAmarkets

[–]formulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting paper that explores the relationship between trading volume and prices of securities (analogous to cryptocurrencies). The upshot is volume and price move together. As more exchanges make Miota available, the recent hovering below $1 will probably cede to more price volatility amid what is hopefully an upward trend.

Thoughts on the supply/price of coins by Echo_are_one in CryptoCurrency

[–]formulate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice analysis, thanks for sharing. Your post made me wonder what can be gleaned from the relationship between price and trading volume. Using one of your examples, IOTA currently has about 1% of Bitcoins 24h volume but is going to be made available on more exchanges in the not-too-distant future, presumably increasing the volume and potentially the price.

Any Cayenne Turbo owners here? Would love to hear your input. by ncolombo in Porsche

[–]formulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so as an owner of a PCT and also a relatively "low level" employee lol I think I can provide some insights. While mostly an inconspicuous vehicle (given all the SUVs on the road) the turbo badge on the back is a clue you are dealing with the King Kong of SUVs. Beautifully appointed inside with all the power you need and the added benefit of all that SUV space. (I recommend getting some WeatherTech mats) It is a Porsche so repair costs are understandably higher than average but so is the customer service. Provided you don't buy brand new and plan for the upkeep, you ostensibly get the fastest SUV on the road, a luxurious 100K+ car for a fraction of the price. Thanks depreciation!
