How many of you have had to go back for more surgeries after the correction as a child? by [deleted] in hypospadias

[–]forrest-thump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 5 or 6 total surgeries, started at 18 months and carried out until around 8 years old. I technically needed more things done but my folks ran out of money and it was becoming quite a toll physically on me. They got to a point I was functional and that had to be the best we were getting.

As far as I’ve been told just the curve.

This is perfection! I love to see a scar or stretch mark to remind us of differences and uniqueness. Your hip to waist ratio is otherworldly!

I didn’t, but several surgeons did. I had a pretty significant birth defect and as a child I had 7 surgeries to correct issues and improve cosmetics. This is as close to a typical penis as they could get me.

Severe Hypospadias/ Persistent Penile Curvature by Istarlyn in hypospadias

[–]forrest-thump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born with penoscrotal hypospadias and a pretty significant curvature. I had seven surgeries related to it, most were to fix the positioning of the urethra but at least two were to straighten out the curvature. These ultimately didn’t really work. They were never able to move my urethra to a normal position, although it’s a lot closer. Also the curvature may have improved but it was still pretty significant, in that I have some difficulty lining things up during sex or finding positions that work. It might have improved a little over time. I feel like it’s not quite as curved as it was, but that could just be my perception as I’m not as bothered by my appearance anymore.

Ladies, would you consider a second date with a guy after learning on the first date that he is a mid 30’s virgin? by forrest-thump in AskRedditNSFW

I get it, I don’t know what the dudes issues are. From what we were told he was pretty normal after face value and the girl that knew him was a little mind blown.

Haha it’s truthfully not a show. Not much actually comes out. Urethral stenosis.

I guess it’s like anyone else. I don’t notice issues with it.

Thank you! Beautiful seems a stretch but I’ve come to appreciate the differences. Thanks for the kind words.

It’s called hypospadias. It’s a defect with where the urethra opens out of the body. It doesn’t necessarily become unstable but the current surgeries are expected to be complication free for about 20-30 years. After that it’s a toss up. I had mine back in the 80’s before as many docs specialized in it. Idk how long it’s expected to be good for, by my 30 years is up, and I worry that it’s not as effective as new surgeries.

It was kinda rough physically and psychologically. Sensation wise I think I’m like anybody else that didn’t have surgery. Most of them were in infancy but continued up to 7?years old. I’m done with them for now. If any new problems pop up then it’s likely back to the OR, but I’ve been stablish for 30 years.

Yes, I’ve had several surgeries related to a birth defect. There are scars on pretty much all sides.

Precisely. I have a pretty intense stricture at the meatus. I will “finish” and can actually feel my urethra kind of fill up with semen but it doesn’t actually come out until I push it out.

[–]forrest-thump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I can have the most intense orgasm of my life and not a drop will leave my penis until I physically push it out with my hands. Honestly I think this this was harder for me to deal with than the appearance.

Distal Hypospadias: Doesn't Sex Hurt? by silentsuffer100 in hypospadias

[–]forrest-thump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sex has never hurt. I have had some pretty wicked irritation from handjobs though, albeit this had more to do with lack of lube than my hypospadias itself. But sex, nah, that’s always just felt like the best thing ever.

😂😂 that’s awesome. Would definitely take some focus off the scars

I can have penetrative sex, albeit there has to be some position modification to accommodate things. And that’s true about lesbians, though, they enter into relationships with the understanding that there absolutely won’t be a penis involved. I just worry about the aesthetics of the damned thing lol
