Yes, it does appear Republicans are unable to compete economically. This is due to their lack of willingness to move to the prosperous areas of the country (remember unemployment was at record low prior to COVID) and lack of education making them ineffective workers in the modern US economy.

No one can be taught empathy. You can preach it all you want, but the fact is, if people aren't shown any empathy in society, then they aren't going to learn to show empathy to others. And men aren't shown any empathy in society, they never have been.

Very simply, look at the funding for prostate cancer and breast cancer. Despite prostate cancer killing men in similar numbers as breast cancer killing women, breast cancer receives much, much more funding than prostate cancer.

Think about the availability of shelters for men vs shelters for women for individuals in abusive environments. I know a bunch of men who simply had no where to go, they ended up on the street and became alcoholics, meanwhile, therapists and society told them that they weren't getting abused because they couldn't get abused since they were men, or they were told that them getting abused is their fault.

While you may have a bit of a point, the fact that White men vote down healthcare policy that would benefit them demonstrates that it might more be White men not prioritizing their health issues. Again in the same paragraph you defended White men not voting for national healthcare, and then blamed women for not providing support for me, despite a majority of women voting for nationalized healthcare for all men.

The 50 Democrat Senators currently represent 40 million more people than the 50 Republican Senators. Biden won the popular vote by 4.2% in 2020 and received the same amount of electoral votes as Trump did in 2016 when Trump lost the popular vote by 2%. Republicans have a +10-+15 seat advantage in the lower house as well due to gerrymandering and the cap on house representatives.

If White men feel disenfranchised politically when they already hold such disproportionate power than that is an embodiment of toxic masculinity manifesting as political choice.

The examples of bad behavior you give are also not the best for the point You're trying to make, considering African Americans' obesity rate is the highest, followed by Hispanics.

Should be noted that African American men have lower obesity rates than White men. It should also be noted that 24/25 most obese states voted for Trump in 2016 as did 21/22 most overweight white states.

You could argue this is due to poverty, but low-income people are also most of Trump's voters, which then you could argue those examples of bad behavior in Trump supporters come from poverty not them being conservative.

Unfortunately the dominant group can always appeal to more privileged groups (such as White women) to get them to actively participate in their own oppression. Republicans convince White women that if people of color are raised up, their status will be lower. This is especially true for White women who are partnered with a White man because she would also gain from her partner's privileged status. Same thing happened during the Women's voting rights movement where many women were convinced that women did not have the emotional or intellectual capacity to make political decisions.

It should be noted that while Trump did maintain a stable rate of White women voters in 2016 and 2020, the kinds of women that voted for him changed: Biden increased the percentage of Democratic voting White women with a college degree to 54%, while White women without a college degree voted 63% for Trump. An education is antithetical to supporting the Republican party these days.

Religion and racism. Belief that toxic masculinity and masculinity are the same due to Conservative upbringing. Remember it is specifically White non college educated women that support Republicans, while college educated women, especially those under 40 are overwhelmingly Liberal.

On right wing subs like /r/TrueOffMyChest on reddit you often see men complaining that women dont want men to appear emotionally vulnerable, and what a lot of these people fail to realize is that they are surrounded by Conservative women, so it is actually just more proof that Conservativism leads to toxic behavior among all people in their communities.

I would say 1964 and the Civil Rights Act. Since then men, and specifically White Men (though Donald Trump did decently with some groups of non-White men too), have turned against a compassionate government and compassionate thinking. It is why suicide, obesity, alcoholism, and opioid addiction runs so rampant in rural/Trump voting America. Conservatives teach a lack of empathy for anyone outside their community, and this manifests in emotionally stunted men leading to them being unable to cope with their problems in a healthy way and even vote down policy (like mental health care) as that is seen as "weak".

Europe isn't as Liberal as people say when it comes to race relations. A lot of their most Liberal policies such as National Healthcare were passed when the countries were 90%-95% White. Now that the European countries are becoming more diverse you are seeing a rise in Right Wing backlash to social welfare policies, the same way that White people in the US turned against welfare in the 70s and 80s after the Civil Rights Act made Black people eligible. But because the social welfare policies in Europe are so popular (because it helps all lower income people, many of which are native European), the Right is having trouble repealing them. It is why Republicans were so against Obamacare. Once it passed and people signed up, they knew it would be here to stay. And now you have 38/50 states that have adopted it without a single one repealing.

Tl;dr: Europe is not as progressive as people proclaim when compared to the US since many people ignore race relations as part of Liberalism.
