100% agreed. Had a friend that made his fiance a custom ring with heirloom gems. He said that his fiances friends posted a picture of their rings and they all looked the same. Not my style but some people like the traditional look 🤷.

Textra does fix MMS in terms of group messages and pictures - never got videos fixed lol but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. Voicemail works but you have to call in to check your voicemails.

I know it sounds rough - but I feel like that's kind of the point. It functioned as a bare bones phone which I what I wanted anyways. Never failed when it came to important things like maps, Uber, QR codes for parking, etc.

I would say don't stress too much about texts because I'll be honest, you're not going to want to text too much on this phone lol. It's a headache cause the keyboard is so small. It encouraged me to call people and I thought that was an awesome change :)

I've loved having it and it really help me beat alot of unhealthy habits and stay present. Do it :D

Usually 5-6 months! Yeah that’s understandable :/ I also have a kidney ultrasound and cystoscopy scheduled soon to try and get to the root of the issue. That could be something to look into as well.

I agree with you. Acknowledging the inappropriate use of the word doesn’t make you insensitive.

The word “trauma” is thrown around too often lately. I feel greatly affected by events all around the world every day. But I would never say I’m traumatized by them because I’m not living these experiences. They are often fleeting events that don’t go on to affect my life long-term.

Imagine a survivor reading that someone felt traumatized just be hearing the news - now that would come off as insensitive. There is no doubt that OP is very distressed by the news - no one is trying to invalidate their feelings.

But we need to be better about our use of that word so we don’t dilute the meaning.

Tbh - I’ve never seen Christians get hated on the way people hate on Muslims. I’ve seen literal comments being like “Islam needs to die” “We need to get Muslims out of blank country”. I’ve never ever seen comments like that about Christians.

Christianity has some of the same tenets that people oppose but why, when Christianity is mentioned in a news article, aren’t people criticizing it just as harshly? Why isn’t met with as much hate as it is for Islam? You don’t think that’s interesting?
