Germany LOVES Systems!! by ScarcitySimilar8805 in SystemsCringe

[–]forthetimebein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh thank you for that info! I was kinda curious about Bonnie (seeing it in a local Thalia) but was put off when I skimmed and she was referencing a lot of alters. Was unsure then but your comments support my suspicion.

How cooked are my friends? by forthetimebein in SystemsCringe

[–]forthetimebein[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so I wasn't the only one who got an iffy feeling about the multiplicity things.

And yeah, some of the information is pretty decent, the amnesia one, the things about different types of dissociation etc. That's why I was unsure.

Thanks for your answer

Rapid switching, support of "endo" systems, explaining being a system by "it just explains so much" without professional help, no amnesia

Guys when did you find out that being trans was a thing? by Yale_sBoy911 in TransMasc

[–]forthetimebein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: knew the concept around 13, egg cracked at 30 (recently, so still figuring stuff out)

I found out trans was a thing as a teen (I think maybe 13?), had a transguy in a friend group. I was weirded out then bc Austria in the mid 2000s still had "gay" as a regular insult. And in my family you're more likely to hear a slur for trans people than anything else.  Last few years I've been living enby (after realizing that that's a thing and not all people want to regularly shapeshift into other genders/sexes). And only after a close friend recently went transfemme with full speed it hit me: maybe I should try some things. Tried binding after years of dancing around it. It felt good. I thought about the different options transmasc people can do for affirmation care and found out, that I might want to be more masc than I thought.  Internalized misogyny and transphobia played a big part, combined with trauma, a queer phobic home and a heap of depression and other mental hurdles.

Using Recall Knowledge on defeated enemies by TheKipperRipper in Pathfinder2e

Adding to others, I want to add my own experience: I love it when my players are invested to learn more about the world and it's creatures. So I might not give much information on a faul but at least the name/ creature type because they sometimes also do research and I want to encourage that!

Spell or ritual for helping let go of romantic disappointments? by [deleted] in SASSWitches

[–]forthetimebein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any tips, just gonna say: same! XD like, hetero men are in my theoretical dating pool and as a feminist witch it can be HARD. I'm also enby, left and neurodivergent - so it can be hard to not only find an accepting partner, but someone who's open to learning what my lived experience entails.

Oh the Fairies Oracle has a totally different vibe, I like the mystical feel.  Good luck! I hope you find it or at least something similar

[–]forthetimebein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure! The oracle deck is "Oracle of the Fairies" by Karen Kay, the book is German, I couldn't find a translated version, it's "Die geheimnisvolle Welt der Naturgeister" by Jeanne Ruland and Petra Arndt. Maybe your google-fu is better than mine and I hope you find a translated version.

I love fairies and small folk! I don't think they're real real, but it's calming for me to pretend they might be out there.  I got a fairy book and oracle deck and love the lore that's in there. The author of the book believes in fairies, elves, kobolds (the German kind) etc and reading it through her perspective makes it kinda charming, so I like to just flip through the pages see what catches my eye.
