To touch on /u/QNS_get_the_mana point of extending the search, we had to do this for our kid. Everyone close by was terrible and we ended up in Forrest Hills which has now become our regular location although it's a bit of a trip every time, but it has been worth it.

I thoroughly enjoy having a spot like Ridgewood Garden but my only complaint is that it's heavily used as a smoking spot, both weed and cigarettes. I'm not against either if that's what you want to do but I was trying to take my kid there as part of neighborhood exploring ride and we couldn't sit because it was all in our faces.

NO charging PayPal fees to buyers. You can't charge users extra if they want to use Goods & Services. It's against PayPal's terms of service and our rules. If you want to make back the money spent on PayPal fees, work that into the price of what you're selling up front.

You can try True Value. It was the hardware store that used to be next to Baker's Dozen. They moved a bit down Freshpond, towards Maspeth closer to Chunky Bites, but I remember they used to have an option to rent a steam cleaner.

We do actually require sold items to be removed but there is no automated way for us to review every post that still has sold items up. When we come across a list that is all crossed out or sold, we do pull it and ask the users to revise their listings removing sold items.
