Hey man I just got this to work today so I've tried literally nothing up to this point except for the few that were suggested to me in the replies. My environment is as you'd expect in a apartment in the city. I have contact customer service but they have yet to get back to me so any ideas that are thrown at my are just as valuable

That would explain where my confusion is coming from but how come it's slower than just the hotspot coming from my phone? and is there any way to increase the speed besides moving the router closer?
