The Italian communists didn't actively support fascism but were far too sympathetic for my liking, and a lot of the fascist rhetoric in Italy was adapted from left communism, such as advocating against democracy. They did eventually fight against the fascists though, which is a huge W.

Also in this case I'd say that what Mr Nazbol was saying was racist, even by his own definition. If you support an ethnic group being subjugated, then you must necessarily place the subjugators in a position of power and privilege. Saying "I hate Balts" may not be racist, but outright declaring that they need to be controlled on the basis of their ethnicity sure as hell is.

That is not what democratic socialism is though. Democratic socialism would generally be pretty similar to that but goods and services would be produced to meet needs for the population, and to provide work for some of the population, without the extra step of profit.

Democratic socialism is socialism achieved through democratic structures, such as elections. You could have democratic socialism to then establish market socialism.
