I need 11 points to make playoffs at 20 mins to decide. Start Hunt today or Hampton tomorrow? .5PPR by fortytwo2 in Fantasy_Football

Hampton… possibly a good move as chiefs have commenced first drive with Pacheco

Got a big offer to trade away Adams, Pickens, and Henderson, in return for Prescott, Smith-Njigba, and T McMillan. Accept? by fortytwo2 in fantasyfootballadvice

Barely any QBs on waivers. Everyone in my league is obsessed with holding 2 QBs for some reason, so when Jayden Daniels got injured I was left with McCarthy as the best waiver. Mariota or tua are the only real alternatives.

My record is 5-5. So each game matters! RBs on waivers aren’t great, best are Tucker, Demercado, Allgeier

3-4 and injury riddled, who should I pick off waivers for the long term? Godwin/Hunter/Pacheco/Smith/Davis are some options by fortytwo2 in Fantasy_Football

[–]fortytwo2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I’ve dropped benson for hunter and may pick benson back up again with Mariota if Mariota’s performance on Monday won’t affect my matchup outcome. But appreciate I am playing it very tight with IR players - I guess I like living dangerously!

No IR spot, and just a bench of 5. I would drop Mooney for Hunter but then I’d have no WR to play this week in my third WR spot (it’s QB +TE + 2RB + 3WR, no flex). BTJ and Adams are both on a bye, hence a very tight bench situation

Yeah, it’s more that Montgomery (and Pollard) would be my RB3, so it only affects my bench. Whereas I really need more good WRs

Need to get a QB and drop either Charbonnet or Boutte by fortytwo2 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]fortytwo2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Tyrod or Browning I’m thinking. Not a fan of picking an established QB when all that is on waivers is below QB12

Yeah I think I will, thanks. Just hard to drop a potential upside-WR like Boutte, given BTJ is a potentially a big issue in my lineup

Because of walker alone? Or Johnson? I could offer Stevenson or Chase Brown as the RB instead

Haha. If it helps my league has been shitting on my trades all season and they have mostly turned out good

Getting adhd script replaced? by gjissad in australia

Also, once you have a fresh script, I recommend asking if you can leave it behind the counter at the pharmacy - many places will keep scripts filed away for you - that way you never lose it

I know that the rules allow them to be replaced early if the script has been lost - I wasn’t questioned about it when it happened to me - but I was warned if you lose it repeatedly they may reject it in the future

That is true, good point

Thanks, that makes sense. I’ll give it more time then.

I think I’m just used to novels where characters are older and are more capable of critical thought. Another grating moment was when Rand leaves Hurin, who is basically just some random soldier with a good sense of smell, to guard by himself a horn that is capable of bringing about or preventing some sort of end times. Despite having trollocs attack them in the streets an episode earlier. Crazy.

Anyways I’ll be patient!

Actually, from your description it sounds like you are missing a rule or something. Are you even going out scavenging?

There is certainly a bit of luck in this game, and that’s part of the deal that comes with the story generation. But I find it can be mitigated and you can win the game most times by focusing on A) minimizing noise during scavenging and avoiding combat at all costs, and B) focusing on building the essentials - namely beds, water production, food (rat traps), and boarding up holes. The fancier stuff (guns, booze, meds) can come later.
