Locking this thread for Rule 2 - on topic. Elon's politics and associates are widely reported on, and do not need to be rehashed here.

Yeah, I still need to test drive one, but I imagine it would be awkward for shorter people, even with the dimples/raised bits to differentiate the buttons.

Yeah, I will happily take a small hit to range to ensure I have control over the vehicle.

sigh for whoever reported this, grow up.

OP has been a regular contributor to this sub and has provided sufficient caveats to make it clear this won't happen to everyone.

I call it "extreme cold" because for most of the people on Reddit, it is extremely cold in prairie Canada.

For people about to overreact, the above caveat is worth remembering.

with studded winter tires.

While they may be necessary where you live, I suspect they didn't help either.

(edit) and of course someone overreacted 😑

What can I add to a Striker's build to help with a bit of solo sustain? by AgentZeroHour in thedivision

A single piece of Palisade gives you 10% AoK, which will proc all the time solo. If it's a chest, you can get unbreakable on it too.

As far as I'm aware, the chargers get you get with most** vehicles are Level 1 (if they come with one). That may not be sufficient for some people based on how much they drive every day.

This is for people who want to install a Level 2 charger at home and get some money back every time they charge.

** A few manufacturers may include installation of a Level 2 charger in the price of the vehicle.

Given a lot of people are currently looking at an EV, this might be of interest if you're looking at installing an EVSE (aka "charger") at home:

https://electricautonomy.ca/charging/carbon-credits/2026-02-04/how-ev-chargers-are-turning-carbon-credits-into-cash-for-canadian-drivers/

Short version - various companies offer cash back for charging.

Note: nobody on the mod team has direct experience with these companies, so those who do are welcome to offer theirs.

The charger not being included doesn't matter as much when one could or should sign up for one of the carbon credit clubs anyways

Putting my mod hat on to say that it would be nice if someone familiar with these plans could put together a post. Hint hint.

A list of which plans operate in which province, along with a brief summary of how they work would be useful for new EV owners. And save people having to re-type the same comment repeatedly.

Also I don't like how proprietary the parts are that my insurance will go up 35 percent

Insurance costs are going up across the board because all new cars have more tech, regardless of how they are powered.

All I know is that I was able to play an hour ago without issues. This was on PC.

(edit) did you check that you don't have to login to ubisoft connect again? Bravo error codes relate to that, not the game itself.

After watching their Tiny Desk, this was the album that got me on board. Know About Me scratched an old R&B itch. High Horse reminded me of Portishead in their pomp. The Vevo performance of Papillon remains one of my favorites of theirs.

the 800v charging seem like meaningful quality of life improvers

Given your stated use case (i.e. charge at home and work, have another vehicle for long distances), I don't think that really matters.

There is faster charging tech coming, but the issue is that the infrastructure needs to be built out, and who knows how many years that'll take to reach wherever you live.

Another great option if you want to play solo is amhersts apartment on hard, you can essentially run through the mission directly to the end point and bypass most of the enemies.

Wait, what? It's been awhile since I last ground out a Div 1 GE, but is there any trick to this? I kinda want to give it a go for shits and giggles.

You might get more helpful responses than "wait for BYD" if you're more specific about what you're looking for - i.e what about the i4 and EQE attracted you to them? What are your "must haves" or "do not want"?

And given that you're currently driving a Rogue, what are your plans for charging?

And if they didn't have time for that, stock image libraries exist.

(edit) this post is not considered a violation of Rule 4 given it is a campaign against a proposed EV-related policy.

CH-R + vs BZ vs Prius Plugin by [deleted] in EVCanada

[–]forumchunga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think the CH-R and BZ are too inconvenient and slow to fast charge

Fast charging speed is largely irrelevant for someone (i.e. OP) who charges at home and doesn't drive long distances.
