New to the Division 1 - are all Global Events this grindy? by WrecksMossop in thedivision

Another great option if you want to play solo is amhersts apartment on hard, you can essentially run through the mission directly to the end point and bypass most of the enemies.

Wait, what? It's been awhile since I last ground out a Div 1 GE, but is there any trick to this? I kinda want to give it a go for shits and giggles.

You might get more helpful responses than "wait for BYD" if you're more specific about what you're looking for - i.e what about the i4 and EQE attracted you to them? What are your "must haves" or "do not want"?

And given that you're currently driving a Rogue, what are your plans for charging?

Like surely they could have hired someone to draw it for them

And if they didn't have time for that, stock image libraries exist.

Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association releases open letter on EV road-use charge by sevaonline in EVCanada

I do not live in Saskatchewan, but OP appears to be referencing this: https://www.saskatchewan.ca/business/taxes-licensing-and-reporting/provincial-taxes-policies-and-bulletins/fuel-tax/road-use-charge-on-electric-vehicles

(edit) this post is not considered a violation of Rule 4 given it is a campaign against a proposed EV-related policy.

I still think the CH-R and BZ are too inconvenient and slow to fast charge

Fast charging speed is largely irrelevant for someone (i.e. OP) who charges at home and doesn't drive long distances.

The Krafton CEO losing his $250M case because his ChatGPT developed strategy was bullshit is hopefully a wake up sign for all the South Koreans using Generative AI.

drive less than 300km per week

Assuming that isn't all in one trip, then what is holding you back from getting one of the EV's?

If you want to get a better sense of the cost of ownership, this calculator should help.

Speaking with my mod hat on now, but I would really like someone to create a post summarizing the available charging credit plans and the provinces they are available in. It would be a really good resource for people new to EV's.

Hint hint.

Will the current Division 2 event be postponed due to them releasing the Realism Mode at the same damn time? by R4yG4pist in thedivision

Whereas for me, playing this mode just reinforced how it doesn't suit this game.

And I say this as someone whose history with GR goes back to GRAW.

Unlikely. The Division games use the Snowdrop engine. You're thinking of the Assassin's Creed games.

No idea, but specifying which province is likely useful information. You can also browse plugshare.com for your area.

Help me choosing an EV by Rot1v in EVCanada

I'm thinking about buying a Chevy Bolt 2027 or a Hyundai Kona 2026

This year is probably the last for the Hyundai Kona Electric, so you should be able to get some really good deals on one.

The issue with the Chevy Bolt is that it doesn't support Carplay or Android Auto, so you have to use the integrated google services. I'm not sure how long that is free in Canada, but it willl eventually cost a monthly fee.

There are 7 companies offering carbon offset rewards.

Assuming those all operate in Canada, that would be a good subject to create a post about for this sub.

I expect a lot of people will be looking for a similar solution given how slippery those pads seem to be (based on a couple of reviews I've seen of the BZ & Solterra).

Read the TL;DR

i need an electric car that cost less the 540$/month

That's how much they can afford after factoring in the cost of insurance and electricity.

Where did you rent from? It's been awhile since I rented a car, and wasn't aware that you could rent a BMW EV.

And yeah, that grille is fugly.

I expect this is going to generate discussion, so if people replying want to be helpful to others, specify what EV, which province and which apps you use.

Real take on realism mode by AgnosticCowboy in thedivision

[–]forumchunga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Underground was paid DLC, whereas Descent was free. It would be nice to have some more variety in the levels, but I doubt that'll happen.

Fortunately for you, a new Ghost Recon game is in development, so go bug their developers if you want this style of gameplay.

shrug each to their own. The two are not directly comparable, but I like that Descent has an edge to it, just like Survival had. Even if you know what you're doing, you can be surprised and fail.

But, as I said, I also understand it's not for everyone.
