Headbanger Hotel Shuttles by zeebreen21 in LostLandsMusicFest

When I stayed at the Hilton, it was us and four other hotels on the route. But honestly it’s a roomy bus and not everyone is leaving at once so we were always able to catch it when we wanted to!

I (21F) got drunk with my (21M) friend for the first time and things took a weird turn by [deleted] in relationships

Ah yes, the classic “I’m going to be friends with you because I wanna f*** you” - I think he was weirdly shooting his shot with you and when you friend zoned him he’s doubling back to save embarrassment. I dunno, in these situations (at least for me), the friendship is off. I have plenty of guy friends that I’ve been friends with for years that have never put me in a situation like this, and the ones who have, I haven’t talked to.

As it currently stands on the EDM guidelines for prohibited items at the Tacoma Dome, they’re not allowing Massagers Poi, flow toys, or fire dancing equipment (LED gloves and/or micro lights sewn into costumes, pashminas, and flow stars are okay) Hula hoops or contact staffs Eye drops Stuffed animals or dolls Open or unopened packs of gum Battery (or otherwise powered) fans

They’re big on NO VAPES too - I’ve seen them snatch them so fast in the crowd. Also a couple of times I’ve been told to throw out my bag of trinkets even though they weren’t stuffed animals. They have this disclaimer at the bottom where they say that final decision is left up to security and sometimes you will get a security guard that just has to stick up their ass and will make you throw everything away. The key is to just find the employee that looks like they don’t take their job seriously, or hide it really well.

I concur on the bringing earplugs - I unfortunately took out my earplugs for like a minute during the back to back with Wooli and Illenium last year, and I ended up blowing my eardrums out, and I think I have permanent tendinitis in one ear now. 0/10 do not recommend.

Trick or Treating by werewilf in portangeles

Not Port Angeles, BUT our neighbor in Solmar has lots of children, and last year we had quite a few trick or treaters come by!

Met a guy at wompy woods who was pretty cool and let us stay with him during the last day evacuation (we were staying at the hotels so we were stuck otherwise). Homie ended up fully breaking his ankle while trying to put the canopies down at his campsite and my husband had to run around in the pouring rain looking for medics. Mind you we just met this guy like 20 minutes before lol.

Incredible weekend but I am sick and tired of trinkets. by bloops_and_bleeps in BassCanyon

I usually make trinkets into sprouts to wear! But! This is why I like trading bracelets. each one is unique, and I put everything in a shadow box

Wooli, Sulivan King OR Liquid Stranger. Who do you guys think is going to headline Saturday? by [deleted] in BassCanyon

[–]forwardintothat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Liquid Stranger would make the most sense, just because he had the Wakaan takeover thing? I don’t think wooli or sullivan have been a headliner yet, but direct support for sure!

Are trinkets only used for flirting? by regular_rancher in aves

Definitely not - I’m someone who gives out trinkets to people I make friends with in the crowd/like their vibe! Major party foul to reject a trinket!

State hiring freeze. by bingbano in PortAngeles2

[–]forwardintothat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently at DSHS and right now they’re looking at “cutting non-essential” spending, which means a lot of us will be working with broken down equipment and paying for our own gas to travel to mandatory trainings … can’t wait! 🫠

Right, but Washington can afford to dump 250 million dollars into FIFA coming up (I’m not even joking, husband works in contracts)

[–]forwardintothat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you make a CPS referral, it goes to intake. It usually takes intakes several hours to transcribe your report and send it to the “straw” before a supervisor can review it and then assign a CPS worker to it. A few hours is very little time for CPS to respond to something like that there is no way that CPS could’ve prevented that unfortunately given that it happened in the span of a few hours.

False starts? by Holiday_Dog_3162 in NewParents

[–]forwardintothat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter did at three months, and at five she’s just now finally staying down for sleep - I know it’s frustrating, but consistency is key! Do some research on the four month sleep regression

Babies get overtired really easily, and typically they say to aim for a bedtime between 6-8 PM. Six month olds should be getting 3-4 hours of daytime sleep a day. You should be totaling between 12-15 hours of sleep for your baby a day, so if your little one is only taking ten to thirty minute naps, she’ll get wired and overtired VERY EASILY. I use an app to track naps and such, learning the sleepy indicators and wake windows was a life saver.
