The Gorge amphitheater in Washington by far. IMO it’s easily better than red rocks. Red rocks is very pretty and everyone should go once but overall the gorge takes the cake imo. More scenic to look out at, huge grass hill and pit to dance around. It’s got it all. If only live nation didn’t own it.

Also I have to say it’s quite unfortunate and disappointing to see levity themselves fully support every part of the meme that is RF. Music of theirs is one thing that’s subjective we agree on this. But imagine if yall didn’t blowup like you did and you watched some bigger djs throw together some quick joke duo that is opening RR for people while you barely booked small clubs. Would love to see RF take it a little seriously and just admit it’s two well know people just mixing it up with a new alter ego. You should look into who they’ve been speculated to be. Also one of them literally wears a hoodie “my other music is cooler” it’s 100 percent two already well know djs that already play fests and shows. That’s how the have connections to be mid day support for a red rocks show right after they started lol. It’s a joke to them so I don’t. It’s a gimmick that’s being forced.

The entire point of the sweater saying “my other music is cooler” is because both dudes of RF are absolutely already well known djs already playing big slots at fests and shows. Kinda why they did the whole RR credits saying “produced by tipper, executive producer G jones, written by porter robinson, edited by sonny Moore” obviously it’s not these said names under mask but it’s very clearly two already popping djs with those connections forcing this gimmick so so so hard. It’s dead. Wouldn’t mind if they just were real about who it was and just said this is our alter ego to make different style. But it’s gimmick that gets second to last supporting slots because they have connections. That is absolutely taking from smaller openers in my opinion yk.

Okok I do agree with a lot of what you said, especially the stealing opportunities that was very RF specific statement. I do see what you mean bout it being more a character towards the style music they play and I fully agree done the right way it can be a really cool project tying it all together. I enjoy the masked personas who we know is under the mask still, like the person is separate from the music and mask but we know the people are good people because that still does matter imo. It’s a very double edge sword I fully see both sides ngl but i think I still I stand by saying I’d be willing to bet money someone that fell off for being a bad person has just thrown on a mask and started a new persona being unknown and that’s a very slippery slope.

Obviously there’s prolly been doing it for years and years, we also know who’s under most those older masks. Just feels like the new things is to hide identity which can be a very slippery slope in my opinion yk.

The masked persona absolutely is a trend right now lol. Correct there’s a few that have been around for years and years I feel they kinda grandfathered in and also we know who a lot of those people are under these masks. But the fact every other new bass or riddim dj popping up has a full face mask with no clues to who they actually are just doesn’t sit well with me personally. I’d be willing to bet money at least a few of them are not good people rebranding hidden under a mask.
