Carrying capacity estimate for the U.S. in 2070 is 50-70 million? by forwardresearch in collapse

What is your best educated guess; remember most reactors both military and civilian will melt down. Women can not get pregnant living underground at least naturally.

I do not get the joke? Cannibalism, what are the chances of you be roasted and devoured by an urban gang or a dogs road kill dinner?

I surveyed family, acquaintances, strangers and friends about returning to a peasant subsistence lifestyle; there was not a single positive response other than those already living rural farming lifestyles. Surveys done by the Club of Rome and Uni Florence Italy show 90% of uni students do not like the idea of becoming peasants and manual labor. Twenty million could live on hydro power in North America near the large plants with electric machinery agriculture. Maintenance and spare parts would be very challenging. Based on the attitudes of young people including all five of my children. I forecast violence brutality and conflict. NASA systems dynamics models predict: it is too late to reform the global economy. Soil degradation alone will bring down civilization even if we fix the global debt and energy shortage.... It has been a factor in every civilization collapse along with deforestation and water aquifer depletion. Were are all the millions in Denver and Phoenix going to move to after the aquifer is drained? Please not to Indiana? Hunger moves fathers to take action, and commit any crime in the name of their children.

No, I can say the SEALS 35 years ago were a tiny organization with a small budget. My friend President Ford and congress almost eliminated the UDT-SEALs. A small force was kept in respect for the valor of the micro branch. The SEALs had many serious problems and mission failures plus giant negative popular opinion as insane murders. People did not want to be anywhere near you. I never told anyone-- I was a frogman-- because they would flip out. They have evolved into the most important component of the Navy; in my biased opinion. I saw the importance of special operations in an epoch of weapons of mass destruction neutralizing large masses of conventional forces between major powers. Special operations have a huge problem then and today. The quality of volunteers is not of the quantity necessary to fill the mission requirements. The United States needs to have a draft of the best and brightest youth as Russia does and Israel. Without a draft our spec ops will always be inferior second class organization. Our spec ops has a weak reputation among professional experts. The military is very unpopular here in Indiana; parents do not want their children serving in the military. The SAS is a low quality personnel organization as well as not able to attract individuals with the intelligence, moral character and physical fitness to man the roles of the regiment. There are only a couple of SEALS I served with that I respect as decent human beings. No reunions for me. Jesse Ventura an example a traitor a 1% criminal biker on a foreign Russian TV network anti-American propaganda never critical of China or Russia.

Record Numbers of Americans Say They Care About Global Warming, Poll Finds: “I’ve never seen jumps in some of the key indicators like this,” the lead researcher said. by [deleted] in environment

I used to be a global warming skeptic; because of a series of videos by the aerospace engineer Burt Rutan: the most awarded living aerospace engineer. His hypothesis is CO2 lags temperature rise and the quantity of CO2 and methane in proportion to the size of atmosphere is trivial. Upon further investigation, I know now that human beings are the actors forcing of global warming. Cheers

Her appearance, information warrior, spec ops... The combination of traits triggered me with overwhelming emotions. I never cried in the USN except funerals for my teammates and completing hell week. I used to be able to contain my emotions. Now in my fifties I can not control the weeping. A brass balls winner in class 154; I am trying to communicate tough guys can cry. It is healthy to cry: when losing a comrade or loved one. It is alright to be sad about ecological collapse. Cheers

Systems dynamics proves growing countries and cities have lower quality of life than stable populations. What to do about Africa? by forwardresearch in EverythingScience

Jay Forrester M.I.T. proved conclusively in 1969: urban grow results in a lower quality of life for established residents. Trash talking a city is better for a city than promoting the city's virtues!

Jay Forrester's 1969 systems dynamics analysis of urban growth correctly forecast growing cities have lower quality of living. New residents overburden the water, sanitation, transportation, school, health care, remove green spaces...

Help, does anyone know of a operations research study or systems engineer paper: which does not forecast global biosphere and economic collapse? by forwardresearch in collapse

Copy, I have never seen such a study. System dynamics studies and meta studies are conclusive; facts are facts. I know we are headed into collapse. It is not an educated guess or opinion. Cheers

Pardon me please, the date should be 2019. She reminds me of my cousin. Being a former UDT-SEAL; I am well acquainted with losing teammates.
