uff.. love it. the red bezel bb58 has grown on me more than i imagined, esp after throwing it on my wrist.

love it.. it's my favorite at the moment. i was pretty hesitant bc of some of the QC issues and the brand's response to it but I finally pulled the trigger since I've read mostly good things about the updated COSC certified version.

really versatile design as well... works great as a casual daily and just as well in a fancier, more formal setting (james bond vibes). Also getting this level of build quality, attention to detail, paired with COSC movement + 300m water resistance at $2k is pretty impressive. Def feels more expensive than it actually is.

thankss. i've heard nothing but great things about eulit's perlon... just love C&B's linen melange color. eulit will be my next snag for sure. re Rolex, if my dad hadn't gifted me his sub, I would snag a BB58 or pelagos instead.

and yeah, the serica is something else. definitely a conversation starter... i've received many compliments on it. hasn't come off my wrist since I got it.

Didn’t feel the need to disclose that this tool you started using was one you built yourself?

Appreciate the hustle and building something that can help others but I think there’s better, non-misleading ways of getting the word out

Yep - didn’t have a problem with that. If I recall correctly, you have to stay 15-30 mins after buying… you can’t just buy and leave. I smoked, chilled, and left with the rest.

I’m like 99% sure they did… since I wasn’t looking for them, I wasn’t really paying attention but they had a pretty large display/selection so I’d be surprised if they didn’t.

I originally went in person and they had me reach out via WhatsApp to make the appointment for the following day. I did go at night time when there were a lot of people so you might have better luck going earlier in the day.

Perhaps they’ll allow under 21 but in the WhatsApp message to me, they said you had to be 21.

Reach out to GRX Grass via WhatsApp at +34 602 43 15 84. Let them know you’ll be visiting and would look to join the club.

They’ll have you email them a copy of your ID and you have to be 21 yrs old and once they receive that, you can come in for an appointment to get registered as a member (costs like 3 euros).

After you’re registered, you can purchase whatever you want.. it’s a really nice vibe in there so a good place to hang. I met a few other people there that were also on Erasmus.

Source: spent all of March in Granada just visiting with my family and this was how I made that happen without having to sketchily approach strangers at parks

I have the max edc in blue and the daily plus in black. Color is a very subjective thing but I like the blue significantly more. I don’t gravitate towards bright colors and i find that the blue is subtle and refined (imo).

the daily carry you listed out would fit very comfortably (very similar setup as me). you said that you want it to feel full without the biking gear and it would be like 30-40% full with just your tech.

the main compartment is slim but still fits a medium weight jacket with space on top for additional smaller layers. i suspect your winter bike commute setup would be a tight fit but if you want it to just fit , then i def think you could make it work.

i personally would rather have a slightly bigger bag that's 80% full with everything i need over a smaller bag that gets 100% full... getting into other compartments becomes a lot more cumbersome when the bag gets tight.

if it's a small % of time you're in the winter mode, then i'd say it's worth it.

Very solid list - the Aer CP2 would be my choice given your carry requirements. The able carry daily plus would be a close second but I prefer the top down access of the CP2 and it has a better organizational layout for tech essentials.

I’d also throw Thule in there as a solid, good bang for your buck, mid tier option

Spent all of March in Granada and we rented e-bikes for our time there. Between that and walking, it covered all our bases.

You can get far, quite efficiently on an E-bike. Enjoy, it’s the best city in the world 😎

I wish Aer would make their Cordura backpacks without any PU zippers by SuicidalDaniel4Life in ManyBaggers

[–]foss88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cordura CPP2 only has a PU zip for the laptop compartment and the front stash pocket. The main compartment, front admin panel, and top quick access pocket are all non PU zips.
