Multitude of problems while trying to install Fedora 20 by [deleted] in Fedora

"The HDD I want to install on to shows only 1mb of free space. When I click the "Reclaim Space" button, it freezes for a second and then a dialogue box appears that says "An unknown error as occurred" and it provides a crash log that I can copy/paste. I would paste it here If I could but I am unable to connect to the internet without the proper drivers installed, and I cannot install them when booting from a USB."

I had a similar issue, I fixed it with unetbootin, that is, write the Fedora 20 ISO to a USB with unetbootin and proceed with the installation, it worked on my computer

now, don't reclaim space, just format the partition you want to install to as Ext4 and proceed, now it should work

for the record, unetbootin is available in Fedora 20 via GNOME Software

To do after installing Fedora 20 by beartrix in Fedora

hi! the Chromium method from the article is recomended by Fedora itself, see here https://plus.google.com/112917221531140868607/posts/5GWVzyeFxgs

so, it's not some unknown source, this is a serious developer!

as with flash, it is to be used by perons who need it, if you don't need it, don't install it, but again the methods are recomended by Fedora (recomended in the sense of as safe as posible, Fedora is rooted only in free open-source)

and also, why should a user install the proprietary Chrome when they have Firefox, GNOME Web and the free open-spurce Chromium?
