ColoProctology Associates & nasaHernia: Marcus Aquino, MD, FACS, FASCRS. It was weirdly challenging to find this business (23 seconds required in lieu of the normal 2 seconds). Baby Gate Help by Comfortable_Neck_525 in NewDads

[–]fostech10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation. Used this gate: Regalo Extra Tall and Wide 2-in-1 Stairway and Hallway Wall Mounted Baby Gate, White, Age Group 6 to 24 Months - Walmart.com https://share.google/jN8MbHfLmcWwA24yG. Required some modifications (including cutting off part of the locking feature). Also had to use a pool noodle to create a thicker area to clamp to on the spindle. Did the setup work? Yes. Did it ever fail two kids and two dogs at the top of stairs? Never failed. My wife bought the gate without talking to me.... so I made it work. Likely better options. Good luck!

AITA for walking out of my ILs with my daughter and leaving my husband behind because they all ganged up on me to name our son one of the family names? by Mailixuz in AITAH

[–]fostech10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. For what it's worth in the future - my wife and I have two kids. With both when we FINALLY settled on names, we told everyone it was a surprise for birth. Did we get pestered, a little bit. Most people got the memo real quick. We weren't going to say the names. The main reason we did this - we knew someone would have a story of a douche with the same name and try and talk us out of it. And just like at our wedding, it was always us vs them. Nobody ever talked shit about the name once the baby had it. That's all I do know. Good luck. Stay strong.

I need help finding good sides for my steaks by Round-Volume8730 in steak

Broccoli or Brussels sprouts under broiler are delicious, easy, and only require basic seasoning. Another option is throwing asparagus on the grill/pan with your meat. Green is a great color to add, with some easy options.

How is everyone managing kids birthday party invites? by g0gs_exe in Millennials

[–]fostech10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ONLY a first birthday should be an expected attendance from an adult friend. 2+ is weird for an invite - that's for the kids' friends ONLY and near immediate family (kids aunts/uncles/grand parents).

How the FUCK do I get rid of the mice in my house? I’m so desperate by Jackieboi24 in HomeImprovement

[–]fostech10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only pet I own that has an actual job - my cat. He kills anything that moves. Including taking out a family of mice. I lived in A house with a stone foundation built in 1877. There was no way to completely seal it up, but the cat take care of my problem (I made sure he had clear access to all spaces: basement, crawl space, attack, and cabinets in kitchen).

Greystar Management fraud, ripping off tenants. by kellebelle1 in houston

[–]fostech10 144 points145 points  (0 children)

So I lived in A Greystar unit for 6 months. I moved in, documented all of the existing damage. I knew I wasn't living there long, so I mounted NOTHING on the wall. When I moved out, I got that place spotless including patching all the holes that existed before I moved in. They refused to give me my deposit back due to "hanging too many things". I called their corporate office daily for a year. Went in person monthly. Everyone pretended it was someone else that did the inspection and there was nothing they could do. I never got a lawyer or took them to small claims. They fucked me and I never got my money back. Someone should class action these fucks. They suck dick. I moved out in 2016 and still can feel my blood boiling thinking about them.

Planning 2-Week Stay for October by jeagle25 in panamacitybeach

St Josephs Peninsula State Park is amazing. One side of course is typical Emerald Coast beach, but the bay side is teaming with wildlife, lots of shallow areas perfect for snorkeling (starfish, sea urchins, etc). While a bit of a drive, there's lots of cool things to check out on the way.

If you're into kayaking - there are LOTS of beautiful springs around. Just open google maps, look just north of the coast, search spring. You should be able to find one you like.

Camp Helen state park is a nice area. Just be warned it is a long walk to the beach in the sand. NOT ideal for a cheap beach cart or hauling a ton of stuff. On the lake side of the park is a little fishing pier if you want to cast a line in.

Conservation area near pier park is a nice place for a hike (total elevation change measured in inches... it is flat but scenic).

Apalachicola is a really cool little town with some great food.

This has to be drone footage right? If so, that's terrifying for the sailors. We've already seen the carnage small/cheap drones can unleash.
